Sadly disappointing, especially since the prices are on the expensive side. In the past, I went to Caddie Shak before the renovations and Covid and it was awesome! Sadly I went on July 24, 2021 (first time since the renovations and Covid) and it was disappointing and it pains me to say that. It really has went down hill. The renovations did not have any impact. There are now very few go-karts compared to in the past. The kiddie go-karts only had ONE go-kart. The Grand Prix go-karts only had 9 total go-karts (5 single riders and 4 sidekick passenger karts) and the Naskart track only had TWO carts and one of them did not run well. In the past, before the renovations, every lane was filled with karts for the Grand Prix, and the Naskart had 4 of the cool karts with the hoods - now there are just two normal carts. Be prepared to wait in lines a LONG time due to there being very few carts. My family actually had to take their credit play cards home due to the lines taking literally forever since there are so few of karts, so be aware of that. No more water in the golf courses. The golf water streams are dry and they are filled with leaves, sticks, and scum water that actually stinks at places. The super cool waterfall is no more. Courses needed some TLC. A ton of broken stuff. Self serve credit machine was broke, arcade machines were broke, slushie machine broke, out of flavors of ice cream and when they give you 1 or 2 scoops the scoops are very very tiny, only 4 bumper boats were working and 1 of the 4s water gun was broke, all of the batting cages were unavailable - I assume broke as well. Also, not a big deal, but I had a printed coupon for BOGO game of mini golf from online (Laurel Highlands Attractions website) and they would not accept the coupon. I guess to use the coupon you have to pay cash, but what sense does that make when you buy a credit play card, and no the coupon did not state that you have to pay with cash. The play cards instead of physical tickets are a good idea, but you always wonder when the employee swipes the card multiple times for the scanner to read it if too many credits are being taken off. I hope this was just a bad day for Caddie Shak, but sadly at this rate I question how much longer Caddie Shak...
Read moreI dont like to leave bad reviews, but I do hope that an owner takes it as constructive criticism. I recently visited the park and its been about 5 years since. I wanted to visit last year since I am semi local but it was closed. I was happy to see that there was NOT an entrance fee like there was in the past. When I got to the Mini Golf stand, I didnt feel like I was bothering anyone but I didnt feel welcome either. It is what it is. When we were finished, I wanted a drink but the attendant was on her phone. When she hung up, she slammed her phone down. I certainly dont know what the conversation was about, but I took that as though I was interrupting the conversation. The mini golf: Well, there was no water. I dont care that there was no water but there was sludge everywhere along with weeks. There were two holes where the ants were literally in our shoes and we got bit. At lot of the bricks and decorative rocks were out of place or were about to fall over. Some of these rocks were pretty big. The driving range. Leave a lot to be desired. Missing tees from the greens, no attendant, just looks like its in dismay. The balls you are given are sometimes cut in half my what looks like a mower blade. (I know this is just for fun, at least for me it is. Just disappointing). Batting cages: Only three out of the 5 were working. The ones that were working had the speed down good but sometimes the balls would get stuck on the wheels and you would get two pitched at the same time. The token boxes opened and all the tokens fell out. The one working cage only gave me 5 pitches on one round and about 20 on the next I do like to go here. I just wish that it was in...
Read moreUnfortunately, my family’s experience left much to be desired. Half of the arcade games were out of order. One of the games that seemed to be functioning had a sign that said “Prize every time!” But when my daughter played it, no prize was forthcoming. When we asked the bored-looking employee scrolling her phone, she replied, “Oh yeah. I don’t think it has been giving prizes for about a week.” When we politely suggested that they should put a sign on it to that effect, she said, “I thought there was a sign. And a different company operates that so we can’t do anything about it.” Most everything in the arcade had a thick film of dust on it. The hand sanitizer dispenser was empty. When we bought a card to use for our kids to ride Go Carts, we were unsure which track to go to and there was only one employee who seemed to be working at two separate Go Cart tracks, as well as a couple of small carnival-like kid rides. Since the employee was sitting beside one of the carnival rides, the kids decided to ride that. Well, that one ride took all of the funds from the card, which we had thought would be enough for Go Cart rides and carnival rides. Overall, this place seemed tired, out of date, and priced too high for the lack of value. The prices would have been more appropriate had the place been better maintained and had the activities been functioning. Needless to say, we didn’t even try mini-golf and we...
