Silver Horse Coffee — Restaurant in Donegal Township

Before I give this review I think it is fair to note that this is the first time my wife and I have ever been to this coffee shop and maybe they were having a bad day. However we drink a lot of coffee especially when we're traveling and this had to be the worst cup of coffee my wife and I both have ever had and I don't speak for her, I asked her and we both agreed. We both got the silver bullet with different flavors in them because it was cold coffee and expresso and it sounded like something we would normally get at other coffee shops and thought it would be good. The only reason that we did not go in and ask for our money back or to voice our extrem displeasure with their product at the time was because we were traveling and back on the road quickly. We wanted breakfast as well which we noticed on their website they said they had and we had planned to get at the coffee shop as well. They were out of what we wanted along with most of the other pre-made breakfast selections in there refrigerated display case as well. The coffee tasted like it was burnt and or extremely old. I am a seasonal visitor to Seven Springs (a few times a year in each season). My route from north of here brings me past Silver Horse each time. I was happy a few years ago when i saw them putting the shop in, as i love coffee from all over the world :)

Staff is great, accommodating, willing to make exactly what you ask for if you describe it, and the coffee is really good. Burritos are awesome too, selection of hot sauces is so cool and really neat idea. I have, a couple times, just hopped on my bike and rode down in the riding season just to have coffee here to get away from the daily grind of life (and enjoy some time in the wind). Love this joint! I was visiting this area and decided to stop in for coffee. After reading reviews, I ordered their Silver Bullet drink. I'm so glad I did! I'm usually a fairly plain cold brew or iced coffee type of person, but this might be the best specialty coffee drink I've had. It's the perfect blend of strong coffee and sweet flavor. The almond, vanilla, and caramel flavors blend perfectly. I love that their ice cubes are made of coffee and won't water your drink down. I'm upset that I live 2 hours away and can't get this anywhere else! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. My boyfriend and I hope to make it...
