The Catholic Shoppe — Attraction in Downers Grove

My wife and I visited this place this morning, and I must say I was impressed, with all of the beautiful stuff they had, and at reasonable prices, but since I am not a particularly Catholic Catholic, I must defer to my wife and express her impressions:

This place has prayer cards, scapulas, holy medals, rosaries, all manner of crosses, finger rings, bracelets and other symbolic stuff. It is a veritable cornucopia of all things Christian and Catholic. And the place is HUGE, given its specialized market.

One thing that impressed both of us was one of those laser-etched 3-D crystal thingies that depicted the Last Supper. That was so cool!

They have an entire section of the store devoted to books and cards, and another section devoted to kids' stuff.

The two women who were running the place today were as nice as can be, and went out of our way to get another copy of a Guardian Angel Poster so I could have enough of them for all my...

The Catholic Shoppe is a wonderful resource for all things Catholic, including Bibles, books, statues, prayer cards, rosaries and medals and much more. The staff are super friendly, faithful and thoroughly knowledgeable and are happy to answer any questions. They readily help you find exactly what you need! I love the new location. It's definitely the best store of It's kind with unique items at good prices. The Catholic Shoppe is unique in that it is also a Marian Center with a Blessed Mother shrine where you can pray and submit your petitions to be prayed for by the staff.
