Fordhook Farm — Attraction in Doylestown Township

Fordhook Farm is only open once a year. I saw it advertised on social media and decided to make the hour long drive.

I arrive around 10:30 am and the parking lot was packed. They had opened at 9 am. I waited for people to leave and got a spot within 10 minutes.

The farm was full of people but there was enough space to move around. The kitchen garden was the big draw but there were other places to look around.

Beautiful place to go but they only open up to the public once a year for The Burpee Open. Very spacious, had food trucks and covered seating available. Also had seeds, flowers and merch for sale also music. Fun day there but once they run out of parking you have to park at the nearby hospital, there are shuttles but they didn't run as fast to take you back to your car and it can get really hot waiting. #farm #flowers...

2025 first time for my sister & I - it was breathtaking-the gardens , the landscape, the peacefulness, the cleanliness-I can’t say enough —but will highly recommend.

The staff , the traffic control, the plants offered for sale ( very reasonable) , bottled ice water , and for those in need -golf cart shuttles across to parking in Delaware Valley University.
