Terrain at Delaware Valley University — Local services in Doylestown Township

This is Not an eating establishment to chance showing up & getting in! I don't recommend anyone just stop by Terrain for just coffee, Bkfst or Any meal - you may be disappointed & have to turn around & go elsewhere. I drove here 10:07 AM for Bkfst because Google Maps lists Terrain as open 10:00 AM - but Terrain cafe was Closed; curtains drawn & Outside chalk board near garden plants listed they're Open 11:00 AM Thurs. & Fri. (And their chalkboard notices can be outdated, incorrect or anyone can alter them.) When you call Terrain's Cafe # it won't state their Hours of operation, it just says to go check Their website, ie, log on to find out what they're doing that particular day & hour. Most people driving the area for food or coffee check Google Maps - but it Doesn't appear that Terrain updates Google Maps, which is inconvenient for travelers. Since these hours can change yet again - I don't recommend any driver just stop by Terrain for coffee or Bkfst or Any meal - you may be disappointed. Just a heads up for anyone planning an event and considering having it at terrain at delval - don’t! unless you want to be doing the job of an events team and micromanaging people when you have paid thousands of dollars. There were maybe 10-12 people working my event this past weekend and only one of them (the bartender) was pleasant and accommodating. it was so bad that many of my guests even commented on it. The two head / point people didn’t even say hello or introduce themselves to me when I arrived to start setting up and were dismissive and unpleasant the entire time. I have loads of experience running and putting on events and a great group of friends who helped which was the only reason the event turned out beautifully. Overall, the store is stunning and huge! A bountiful array of plants, gifts, housewears, self-care, sun-care, tchotchkes, and so much more. So well curated and the store design is perfection. The back area for weddings and large parties is quite beautiful with scenic acres of crops outside the windows and a modern black barn design. We had a return that took longer than it should have but it was fine since we know they’re all getting used to the systems and technology. Our only real complaint was that we had a snack at the cafe bar and tried to pay with a gift card balance which they could not figure out how to reconcile. It wasn’t a huge amount but they finally said it was “only for retail” but when we tried to use it at the retail store, they said it was “definitely only for the cafe.” Not a huge deal...
