Delaware Valley College provides an environment and opportunity for the students to work closely with the professors gaining crucial knowledge. The college allows freshman to experience hands on learning their very first semester. With smaller class sizes the students are able to receive that one on one attention in their lectures and labs. The staff and faculty, continuously go above and beyond to ensure that their students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed with their future endeavors. Unlike other colleges/universities, the staff and faculty members are accessible and visible outside of lecture. This creates additional times for students to receive any assistance at all. There is currently being a new Life Science Building being constructed to house classes, labs, meeting rooms, and an auditorium. DelVal is a private college that is highly student focused. When a question or concern arises the President and Cabinet Members find a solution effectively and efficiently. This can only be accomplished as smoothly as it does due to the staff/faculty being so in tune with the students. DelVal is a small college with big opportunities. We are waiting for you to take that first step leading to endless...
Read moreDue to the pandemic coinciding with my freshman year of college and the multitude of changes that these circumstances provided, I have been to three schools total. And I will say, without including any other institutional names, if you are a communications (or related field) major, don’t waste your time looking anywhere else beyond DVU.
Funding that you’ll never see in larger institutions is no match for the incredible education that professors Marion Callahan and Doug McCambridge provide.
These two are the best in the world at developing applicable knowledge/skill sets that can be an immediate benefit to any potential employer. They instill the true benefits that every parent could ever hope for in an institution they trust their own children with.
Beyond that, they truly care about each and every student involved in their program.
I’ve never in my life seen such commitment and built so much respect toward anyone at such an immediate rate until meeting these two.
They are, without a doubt, the reason I’d recommend this school to anyone over any other place. From the bottom of my heart, give this school a go if you’re a comm/PR/marketing/ad major. It’s worth it, especially with these...
Read moreThe campus is small and beautiful, I loved the library and the student body, but the academics were horrible. One of the draws of this university is that it is small so students form closer relationships with their professors. I didn’t see it. Only a few professors I had were good, the rest either didn’t care, had horrible attitudes, or spewed anti-American rhetoric. I attended from 2018 to 2021. I dropped out due to the pandemic and the multiple stresses caused by both the university and other unrelated issues. I came to this school because it was close enough for me to commute and had majors that would help me get a job at a zoo, but it unfortunately didn’t work out. I miss the library and wish I could...
