I wish I could give it 0 stars. Went for Easter dinner, as we do every year there. 9 adults, 3 kids. We were seated in the tavern which is very nice. However, the set up was less than optimal. My first plate of food was ice cold, other than the chicken pie, because it was down to nothing. There was no quiche the entire time we were there (2pm to almost 4pm). They ran out of prime rib and substituted with steak tips. The macaroni and cheese looked and tasted like it came out of a box. There were no dessert plates available and food wasn't refilled quickly or at all. The bill came to $450 with gratuity. I'm sorry, a $70 tip for bringing us water and clearing a few plates is excessive. The server couldn't have cared less if we were happy as we really only saw her when we flagged her down for more water. The bill charged us for 10 adults and 3 kids, 1 extra than we had. It was brought to the attention of our server who went to fix it. She returned with the bill and they had removed 1 child ($18.95 vs $31.95) instead of the extra adult we were charged for. My brother generously paid the bill for all of the families and didn't argue about the additional money. He did tell the server that we would not be back, which is unfortunate. We have come here every Easter & Mother's Day since my father passed away 8 years ago, as a way for the family to be together. We all own our own businesses and understand that they are trying to recoup some of the money spent on renovations. However, if you're going to charge me more, you have to step up your game. I would suggest finding...
Read moreWent here for Thanksgiving 2022. This was the worst meal that I have had in a long time at 60pp. The first hostess was nice. She told us where to go to be seated. The second hostess made us wait to be seated even though no one was in front of us. No one told us where the buffet was. We overheard other guests talking about it. We waited over 15 minutes for our waitress to take our drink order but she never came and some else took our drink order and then a waitress, maybe Karen, I was told that this was supposed to be our waitess, brought over our drinks. In looking at the selections available I choose mashed potatoes, corn, turkey and stuffing. The corn was cold as were the rest of my selections. Mashed potatoes were tasteless and the stuffing was beyond mushy. I wanted to try the baked haddock but a few of the pieces looked undercooked and the bread crumbs looked as though they were sprinkled on top as an afterthought. I asked my daughter if I was being unreasonable because everyone else was just gobbling up their meal and she said no as even her mac and cheese was "trash". When they brought the bill they actually thought I was going to pay a $25.00 tip, you must be crazy as I received no service. You chose to be open on a holiday so you should have at least tried to make...
Read moreMy wife & I had attended a wedding there @ Lenzi's for a very good friends wedding on the first of September of this year 2018. They had an extra buffet pan of baked ziti not touched @ all. Instead of throwing good food out as well it's been paid for already; This elderly person had asked a staff person for a little bit of it to take home... She the staff person had demanded $10.00 dollars from her to take a small togo container home & that's pretty dam low of this establishment to do this kind of business.... Mr. Lenzi should teach his staff & him self to respect each & every customer that enter his doors that pay for all the staff & as well the building that he owns & maintains.
When my wife to be & myself had seen this with our own eyes; We had switched our plans on signing a ( $ 11,000.00 ) thousand dollar wedding contract with his staff & what a very ( POOR ) move to the staff that day & Mr. Lenzi's Fiction Hall...
Sincerely,
Mr....
