Great vibe. We went tubing here on our own. Save some money and go by yourself. And you get to keep the float for next time. We went from Abbotts Bridge to Medlock Bridge. It took about 3ish hours and the water was fairly cold. Things you should bring: A float (fairly cheap at outdoor stores, made by Intex) and make sure to inflate it well. Use an electric inflator Sunscreen A paddle or something long to get you out of trees or rocks. Some water and snacks, maybe a speaker if you want music. Buy an extra float to put these on. We spent $30 for a double float, $14 for an inflator. And $10 for parking, one at Abbotts and one at Medlock.

I’ve been coming to fish here since I was a kid, 30+ years. This is a nice little area to get access to the Chattahoochee River for some good trout fishing. Make sure to check the dam water release schedule as water levels can rise rapidly and it can be very dangerous.

We camped for a weekend here in October. The facilities are well maintained and the views of the lake are awesome! It looks like it would be a great spot for RVs too.

This trail is only for winter when poison ivy has died down or if you are wearing long pants. It’s very narrow, very overgrown and much of the vegetation is poison ivy. If you are wearing shorts, it’s nearly impossible even with extreme care and slowness to avoid it. I feel the parks service has somewhat dropped the ball here. I’ve hiked most Chattahoochee river trails and none is as narrow as this one. The solution is not to take out the poison ivy but to widen the path. I had to turn back...

Easily accessible, nice area. I came for tubing, and my only request would be better signage. If you are driving in to Roger's Landing for the first time, it can be confusing. There's a little dog park on the right, and the launch point is behind a parking lot further in on the left. I didn't see any signs, but I was able to follow others there. There is a restroom facility in the parking lot. The lot is a small - medium sized...
