Being a cold January day I didn't explore but will definitely come back in the spring. I learned a lot of interesting information about the little town of Dundas and its' impact in the milling industry and driving "patent" (pure white flour with the hard to process bran from hard midwest spring wheat ). Also, people would come from up to 100 miles around to get this Patent flour, which is like us traveling internationally today.
So, where as Northfield gets so much publicity due to Malt o Meal, we really need to learn more about Dundas and its' 5 mills in town at 1 time!
