I live in oroville, there was a book I wanted really bad and it was at Durham library so I asked the lady at Oroville if she could put it on hold for me, she was super helpful and nice and said she had put it on hold for me, I drove right to Durham to get the book, when I walked in there and asked if she had the book the lady was extremely rude stating that I need to call her first before assuming she already pulled the book (something I was not told about so I feel like she made it up that I had to call her) , I wasn’t asking if she pulled it I was asking if it was even in the library, she had pulled it already and told me where it was. I went and grabbed the book and went to check it out. She then in a very rude tone said I was hold my card to close and needed to pull it back to scan it, it scanned and I checked it out. I said thank you and went to leave as I looked back she was giving me a nasty look and just said “bye”. I will never go to that library again and will be returning the book I got to the Oroville library because of how rude and unprofessional the lady...
