Cozy is not the best description of the owner. Two of us ordered the grilled chicken club $22 . So a typical club has three layers of bread with two layers of meat and lettuce etc.. our club only had one layer of grilled chicken and the chicken was so tiny it doesn't even fill the one layer of bread. Also I can't eat frys medical issues so I said any substitute and the waitress said yes side salad or veggie or coleslaw. I choose salad the other person with the same dish for coleslaw. So the bull came and I was charged additional $2 making my already pitiful sandwich $24. I don't usually complain but I did and the waitress said oh I have to ask the owner... So the owner yells from the back and says that's the price on the menu.. not willing to make any adjustments. What a jerk. It was an awful sandwich. Didn't even get full and all I was asking for was $2 off because my friend was not charged additional. Never going to that place again.and I would avoid it...
Read moreWe walked into Cozy Corner Restaurant on a recommendation given by a friend who lives in Durham. As soon as walked in we truly did feel the coziness of the restaurant! It isn't a big place but I blieve that adds to the cozy ambiance of the room. The girl doing pretty much everthing was amazing!!! She was busy beyond busy but she kept an upbeat attitude the whole time. She was very attentive, filled our drinks, and kept up with our needs all while serving other customers, answering the phone, cleaning tables, and taking care of the take-out customers. The food was delicious!! My fiance had the Chicken Marsala and said it is the best he's ever had (and he's had a lot). I had a regular cheesburger and it was also delicious! It tasted and smelled like the burgers I used to have at my grandma's on the 4th of July. We absolutely recommend...
Read moreThis is my daughter’s (age 6 as of this review) favorite restaurant. We take her occasionally as a treat and sometimes meet up with friends. My daughter has been fighting the flu and after days of not eating much she asked for butter noodles from Cozy Corner. At the time we were coming home from her pediatrician. I called up and asked if they wouldn’t mind bring it out for me so I didn’t have to get my daughter in and out of the car since she is sick. Plus, I really didn’t want to bring her inside. They were so understand and polite. We love being part of a community that values great service and heartfelt understanding. Thank you so much for making my...
