I began my journey at Rasmussen College, which is now Rasmussen University at 56 years of age. This experience has taught me that age does not matter once you put heart soul into what you want to do and accomplish in life. I have had the pleasure interacting with some awesome instructors who pushed me in reaching outside the box, and Ms. Fey is one of those instructors who not only pushed but gave me feedback on my assignments that at first caused me to feel as though I was not doing a decent job, but she said something to me that I will never forget and that was, "it is not all about the grade but what I gain in the knowledge of learning the material and succeed in my future endeavors. I would also like to show my appreciation to my advisor Mr. Mike Holdfelt for being there for any questions or concerns that I had throughout my journey here at Rasmussen University. My highest thanks go to God, who gave me the strength and courage through scriptures and prayer, such as "Do not fear for I am with you" God's strength is made perfect in my weakness. Cannot be happier in knowing that I will be graduating with an Associate's degree in Health Science/Healthcare Medical Administrative Assistant in October.

STAY AWAY!!!! STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!!!!!

Waste of money..... they make you retake classes. They made me retake the same class THREE flippin times! THREE TIMES!!! I put my foot down the third time and told my advisor, Melanie Kemp, that I was scheduled for the same class AGAIN! She said we would have to appeal the last grade because the professor inaccurately failed me. The appeal is supposed to make the college "Review" the last grade so I don't need to take the class again. I was not told by ANYONE that I needed to still attend and actively participate in the class I was going to be pulled out of so I missed the first 2 modules and submitted everything late. My grade is low so I tried to email my advisor who told me to email the instructor.... fine..... I did that. I email the Instructor EXACTLY what was going on. She emailed back and said, "Please refer to the extra credit/redos/late assignment policy in the course expectations." I was thinking, Great! Shes going to work with me! But NO!! The policy she referred me to said she doesn't hand out or accept extra credit or redos. It also mentioned the Rasmussen Late Assignment policy. So the instructor did NOT help me. I emailed her and my advisor again. Advisor said to go back to my instructor and the Instructor said to get a tutor who also didn't help. The tutors suggested that I speak with the instructor and told me to use credible sources when working on the course project. They did not help either! I am facing being kicked out of the college, I am on Academic Probation because of traumatic personal AND family events. I am SCRAMBLING TO TRY TO KEEP MY LONG TIME DREAM OF BECOMING A POLICE OFFICER ALIVE but the college does NOT help the student. Some of these reviews are disgusting.

Students are treated as cash cows.... I am being treated like a pinball...

ITS BEEN 4 DAYS! SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!! I only have 7 months left! I'm almost done!

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET A HOLD OF SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE 12/28: So!!! I have been academically withdrawn from the college. If someone would have listened to me the last 2 times I had this same professor and did something I would not be in this situation!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They will wait till your under water and the surface has frozen over with ice to try and save you from drowning. The one star is for the people who tried to help... It was unfortunately too late when...

I joined Rasmussen University in 2019 for an accelerated program in Healthcare Administration. At that time, my Admissions Advisor, Ashleigh Voigtschild, guided me through the program requirements and explained the courses and enrollment process in detail. I was able to transfer all the classes I took from my previous educational institute. Further, I was connected with the Advising Manager for this campus, Michael Hofeldt, who was also my Academic Advisor. He helped me tremendously with any questions and concerns I had. Everyone I interacted with has been nothing but communicative, professional, and helpful. The professors, online tutoring services, Rasmussen's online library, and other helpful tools and resources embedded in the system, along with my hard work, helped me excel in the program. I would recommend this institute to anyone who is serious about changing their lives and stepping into the...
