I love this park. My dog loves this park. The disc golf course is so well done and a ton of fun. A little challenging but a great way to spend a couple hours. I also love to walk my dog here and splash in the river in the summer. All the staff is super friendly and keep the park so well maintained. Please help keep the park beautiful. Pick up your dog poop and trash. That's not their job it's yours. There are some off leash areas but be mindful of other people. Use common sense. There are people on horseback, so be mindful of them too.

Sunday drive by. Took lunch. Nice place. But was closed as far as park amenities. There was families picnicking and kids swimming and people hiking around the trails. There's frisbee golf, there's zip lines when they're open. Here's some pictures I took today.

As a Boise native, Eagle Island was always a place to go to cool off but was so crowded. We came on a Sunday and to our surprise it wasn't crowded at all. 10 big slide rides for $8 and shaved ice from $3-$5 depending on size.

Eagle island is an amazing place to bring the entire family. There are several trees throughout the park. So of I are looking for some grassy shade, u r in luck. The sandy beach is awesome. There are NO lifeguards on duty though. They have a "life jacket station right before the sandy beach near the main entrance. They are free to use. As a Grandma of 8 grandchildren, I really appreciate this. There's several stationary Bbq's as well. Or u can tote your own in. So bring your coolers full of drinks & foods. You are welcome to bring canopies, umbrellas, chairs and all the good stuff. It is easy to spend 8 hours here. The price is only $7⁰⁰ a car. There's also a single waterslide. I'm unsure of the prices this season but it's definitely affordable. There is only a few large dumpsters that are right outside in the parking lot at the main entrance. The park supplies the trash bags. There's a few stationary trash bag stands throughout the park. U just grab a few bags and when u are leaving, u carry out the trash to main dumpsters out in the parking lot. U will not find any trash cans throughout the park. So make sure u carry your garbage out with you. I...

Eagle Island State Park is picked from the Garden of Eden, placed perfectly on the waters of Idaho. Mingled within the fastest growing real-estate development after Sun Valley or Jackson hole. Like Yellowstone National Park, this landscape has been preserved amid a growing America that hales to its past in perfect preserve. 20 minutes from everywhere, a destination to America's beautiful past niched to its present. A must go experience, you will...
