Overall a completely underwhelming experience. Waited 15 minutes in the pro shop just to try to pay to get out on the course despite having a tee time. Was not mentioned until hole 5 by the course marshal/ranger that it was cart path only. Do not understand why it was cart path only, the conditions were more than suitable for carts. The ranger was essentially just following us around interrupting our round and also made several strange, off-putting comments to the women in our group. On top of the golf round being a poor experience- their restaurant also found a way to severely disappoint. Although the menu advertised a closing time of 5:30pm, they shut their doors early without any kind of notice. After our front 9, we were hoping to have our concerns heard with an understanding; however, Jeff in the pro shop was very stand-offish and rude. We were hoping to take a rain check on the last 9 holes since we were hungry and unhappy with the pace of play, but Jeff did not want to honor our reasons for a bad experience, on top of raising his voice with us. Again, overall, underwhelming and extremely disappointing.

Really solid course, enjoy the layout and speeds of the greens as they run pretty true. Played the course twice now and have no complaints as both rounds have had decent pace and when the pace did slow down, the course marshall was very nice talking to the groups in front and our group as well. Most courses would ignore the fact of slow play and after they had a good conversation it changed almost immediately. Little things like that is why I will continue to make the trip to play Eagle Ranch!

Great course. Tons of tee options, beginner men play from the whites please and beginner ladies I would not recommend this course for you. Great views. Fun hole design. Quite a bit of water which is always fun. Long fairway bunkers that at times play more like hazards. Great course for a fun round or to take your friends money.

We played this on a recent golf trip. LOVED IT! Fun, fair layout. It's in great shape from tee to green. Love their GPS, it was so helpful that I didn't need my range finder once for the entire day. Roomy practice facility. Nice views the entire time and especially on the back nine. The food tasted terrific, was fair priced, prepared timely and served with urgency, friendliness and grace. Beer and cocktails are fair priced. Service, service, service - the service is fantastic along with the most friendly attitude of every single person - pro shop, starter, range minder, cart girl, marshalls, restaurant staff, cart collection. It's half the price of a more "elite" course down the road, but you get twice as much! We asked the pro shop if there was anything we could purchase from them to keep up with our competition and they enthusiastically and graciously donated a score sheet to us. It was such a pleasure to play here, and when I'm in the area again, I will make it a point to stop here. It was recommended to us by a staff member of the "elite" course, and it was our favorite course in this area. We all agreed it is a mainstay on our "play it...

First time golfing in Colorado and will be playing this next year when I return. Played it two days in a row because it was easy to get a tee time and the course was in great shape. Greens rolled well and pretty fast. All of the staff were very friendly; directing me where the range was, etc. Both rounds took less than 4 hours (sat afternoon in July) even with foursomes ahead of me. If I had the money to become a member of a course, this is a place I’d consider. Lots of the resort style courses are too narrow and too close to highways/houses. Not a problem at eagle ranch.

Update 3 years later. Course is still in...
