These people are human garbage. They made a 7 year old boy pay $5 for a smallish watermelon because he dropped it trying to pick it up to bring up for purchase.
That is not good customer service. No supermarket or grocery store would do that. So you say, "But yes, exactly, this isn't some corporate entity, this is a smallish local produce farm." That is exactly my point...they are supposed to be making valuable connections to the community, being part of the area, and building their business on being BETTER than factory farms and giant corporate owned grocery stores with no reason to care about a single person.
