Wonderful family-oriented farm to celebrate the fall season! We had the greatest time with all of the activities like seeing the farm animals, playing in the super-cool Corn Shed, and enjoying the snack bar and food truck with plenty of picnic tables. The outdoor hand-washing sinks were so convenient! Our favorite was the fabulous and free hayride to the expansive pumpkin patch where we passed so many trees in their exquisite autumn splendor. It was also an impressive sight to ride by all of the growing Christmas trees where customers can pick and cut their own during the Christmas season. Arriving at the pumpkin patch after a relaxing ride, we saw some amazing blue and pink pumpkins among the orange, as well as lots of unique gourds. There’s also a corn maze if you choose to buy a ticket. The farm workers were so accommodating and helpful. Elmo on the hayride was a highlight! Decorations, pumpkin and apple butter, honey, and other products were available. This is a must-visit experience...
Read moreWe used to go to bigger farms for our pumpkins in the fall, but they got way to crowded and way to big for their own good. Unangst is a nice low key farm. They have large pumpkin patches to select from, and the prices are reasonable. They haven't put in a bounce house with a carnival and charge $40 just to get in yet which I hope they don't. We want to come for the pumpkins, the animals and a hayride. We were unable to get into the parking lot during Christmas though to get a tree so I cannot comment on the quality of the trees, but the pumpkins were good.
We came back for a tree this year. We got right on the hay rides out to the trees right away and it seemed like they had enough tractors running to keep everyone moving. We got out to the tree area and everything went according to plan. They gave very good instructions on what needed to be done and we found a very sturdy tree. You get it tagged and they bring it back on a separate truck. Paying for the tree was easy and...
Read moreWent 10/19/24 It was nice, friendly staff. They should pride themselves on that. Pumpkins are huge! Largest I've seen at a pumpkin patch. They also give you a wagon to pull instead of carrying them. AT .71/lb I find this more reasonable than some others. Other than the horrible dust covering the patrons on the ride to the patch, it was nice. the dust was coming at us, swirling around the first wagon car, the second one wasn't as bad. Maybe hay on the track, wet it down, or a barrier between the tractor and the riders, something. I ended up having some issues through the night breathing, coughing and couldn't get the dirt taste and smell to go away. My hair was more than coated with dirt dust. Still having issues today. We can all do better, this is where they need some...
