Visited this park yesterday to see the mural by Paul Botello... Unfortunately some disrespectful taggers have vandalized it and it looks as if someone has made an attempt to clean it off. This park is spacious and has lots of trees.. but it would be nice if the city contributed to giving it better maintenance. The sidewalks need a serious power wash; as you're walking along the sidewalk next to the parking lot where the flowers back up to the kid's play area, you get slapped with a smell of urine. It would also be nice if the local police made random stops to keep loiterers (not visitors) off the ground. We were there for 30minutes at least, and saw the same 2 loiterers hanging out in the bathroom! One can only assume they're doing drugs, who stands guard at the door when they aren't doing something bad?... It was also the bathroom next to the kid's play area which makes it worse. The residents of this city pay taxes, they...

I attended the Easter Jubilee event yesterday with my daughter and nephew the event was nice but when it came to the raffle they called out my nephews number and when he claimed the price the lady calling out the numbers turned him down claiming it wasn’t his number . I felt sad for my nephew and tried to tell the lady what happened at the end of the raffle she didn’t believe me and claimed they hadn’t called his number. The lady’s doing the raffle also has preference for the people who would win they would give additional prices as if they knew them . It was really unfair and I felt so sad for my nephew, why would they turn down a kid , not sure why they said it wasn’t the number when my nephew, daughter and I clearly heard the number and he had won , how dissapointing . I’ll be aware if I attend...

i was surprised upon my arrival at how clean this park was because the nearby streets were not so clean when compared. there is plenty of space available for all kinds of sports like dance, basketball, tennis courts, baseball and a pool! there are plenty of signs showing no smoking which is good to see especially when other people have commented that there is high gang activity in the park area. the bathroom was open but there were a bunch of homeless people hanging out inside and on the outside of the restroom area.
