El 7 Mares Restaurant — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

This is my 2nd time coming with my bf their food is sooo good. Specially the sauce with the chips delicious! First time I went I got the breaded shrimp comes with rice fries and a consome to start. This last time I got shrimp enchiladas. When I say their not stingy with their food I mean it. Most places will probably put 3 shrimps or so in the 1 enchilada, not these! They were stuffed with shrimp everything tasted so good. The sauce for the enchiladas is not spicy at all literally just sauce, my bf got the camarones ala diabla, sauce is too spicy for my own taste so beware if you don't eat chile. This is my favorite place to get tacos. I live near many taco trucks and this beats them all. I usually get the "Four Taco Special" which is four tacos and a drink for $5.43.

I get chicken. This place has great chicken. It really has the freshest ingredients of any taco truck and its a restaurant! I usually order outside. I ordered inside the sit down restaurant section twice and the food wasn't as fresh.

As always this place never disappoints. We've been going to this 7 mares for over 10 years and the food is always delicious. When we moved away from CA, we make sure we always come back. We always get the 7 mares coctel, a Shrimp coctel, and the fish ceviche. For appetizers, we got the prepared oysters and they were bomb! It's such a low key spot.
