Quartz Botanicals — Attraction in East Moline

Austin was absolutely wonderful, I had seen a particularly nice rainbow obsidian sphere the other day. So I'm looking at every single piece he has. I finally narrow it down, and I'm pretty sure I picked the right one. Then I saw a fire agate, that might be a good cog in project I'm secretly working on. I was able to really look around this time. This is an amazing place, the displays are very beautifully laid out. There is actually breathing space between each individual specimen. I'm learning that like most people, crystals need a certain amount of "personal" space. The plants are just exquisite. Most are prophegated right on site. So you're getting a local plant, or at least one that's been here since it was an infant. Austin and I got into a discussion about orchids, we share a like of a particular species. There is nothing like this in the QC or surrounding areas so finding this hidden gem was a game changer. Plants are extremely viable and for as compact the store is there are SO many plants to browse. Prices IMO are very reasonable, especially for the quality you are getting. The young man with darker hair has helped me both times I've visited and he is very knowledgeable/helpful but doesn't bombard you with questions and just lets you enjoy your shopping experience (something I wish more businesses would comprehend.) This is a MUST STOP when you're on the Illinois side of the QC! The owner is so sweet, so knowledgeable, and just a ray of sunshine! I haven't seen anything like this place before. It's the perfect spot for anyone who loves plants, rock/crystals, and just nature in general. It's hard not to take home more than you can handle, but forget the other places that sell a most plants seasonally- like Lowe's etc. Just shop here all year long with a better selection, and real tips on how to give your new babies...
