I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Luz Mexican Restaurant, and it was an overall great experience! As soon as I sat down, they brought over a basket of chips and salsa. While the chips were crispy, the salsa was just okay—not bad, but nothing extraordinary. Still, it set the tone for what would be a much more exciting meal. For my main course, I ordered four Tacos El Paso—a mix of chicken, beef fajita, and carnitas. Each taco was packed with bold flavors and the portions were spot-on. 🌮✨ The chicken taco was juicy and well-seasoned, while the beef fajita taco had that smoky, grilled taste that I love. But the standout was definitely the carnitas taco—tender, flavorful pork with the perfect balance of crispiness and softness. Every bite was like a flavor explosion! 😋 The side of rice and beans complemented the tacos beautifully. The rice was fluffy with a nice subtle flavor, and the beans were rich and satisfying. A perfect traditional pairing that hit the spot! One of my favorite parts of the meal was the variety of salsas they offered. The spicy red chili salsa was my personal favorite—it packed a punch with just the right amount of heat. 🌶️🔥 The green chili salsa, on the other hand, had an incredible depth of flavor, and mixing the two together created an unbeatable combo. The layers of spice and flavor were perfect for someone like me who loves a good kick in their food. I also asked about any spicier options, and the staff brought out a special chili salsa that wasn’t on the menu. It was super spicy, which I enjoyed, but it lacked the depth of flavor that the other salsas had. Still, I appreciated their willingness to go the extra mile and let me try something unique! One thing that stood out to me was the excellent customer service at La Luz. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. It made the whole dining experience even better. 🫶 If you're in the mood for authentic Mexican flavors with great service, I highly recommend checking out La Luz Mexican Restaurant. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their delicious dishes! 🍽️🇲🇽

Had the Ponzata (might be butchering the name) carne azada torta. It was explained to me as a torta that’s dipped in a sauce. The sauce mostly tasted like smoked paprika. I had a good time eating in their restaurant. It was a messy sandwich and I loved it! Wish I took pictures of the inside.

This place is amazing. The guacamole is extremely fresh, probably made a few hours before I arrived. I had a pork dish, name escapes me at the moment. Absolutely delicious and couldn't get enough. Amazing service, food came out hot and quick. Highly recommend! Go out and try something new

My wife and I have been looking for a new mexican restaurant that is close to home since our favorite had closed. Decided to give La Luz a try tonight. They served complimentary chips and salsa when we were seated. We decided to order some guacamole to share while we waited for our enchiladas mexicanas to arrive. Guacamole was made fresh and was so good. Then our dinners arrived, and they were also amazing, especially the green sauce. This place was awesome, and we would recommend...

Very kind people working there. Waitress was very attentive. Pretty good menu. Chips and salsa was delicious. Ordered the gorditas, pork with dark chile sauce and steak tacos. Portions were good. Everything was delicious. Although I really liked the steak tacos, the flavor was very good but I thought because the meat was cut so small it tends to get over cooked and dry. Looking forward to returning to try...
