Evan and his shop did my entire speaker system in my Porsche 911 turbo s (2011). They added subs, amps, replaced speakers, replaced radio console and added a backup camera. They also installed radar detection and radar delay directly integrated into the car.
I left it up to him and his expertise to tell me what I needed, what brands to go with and how we should approach the project. I've had aftermarket sound in every car I've owned since I was 16. I'm not the most knowledgeable person about the industry but I'm extremely passionate about music and quality sound. At home on my PC I have Sennheiser headphones so it's fair to say I'm a slight audiophile.
The system he put together in my 911 is the best sounding car system I've ever had. When we first started the project I wasn't sure how much I was going to replace and add but once we got going he immediately knew what it was going to need to make it sound balanced and complete. It's unbelievably crisp, the bass is fantastic, and the speakers can sound amazing all the way up to deafening decibels.
Their prices were completely in line with other shops and i got quotes from other places before we did business which helped me to trust the shop.
The last project they did for me was even more extensive and involved the entire exterior of the car. First I had to remove an outdated protective clear wrap that had deteriorated from being on the car too long before I bought it (model is 2011). They did the entire thing by hand and took extreme care with the bodywork. They also fixed a dent in my front bumper that an 88 year old man in a Bentley gave me in the naples parking garage lol. Then I let Evan convince me to try a completely custom wrap concept that he designed based on my tastes which they also installed.
The wrap is very unique and was very difficult as a project. First they added a matte black layer across the entire car (which looks amazing by itself), tinted the taillights and front lights, and finally added unique cut completely hand drawn "splotches" shapes in glossy black as a layer above the matte. The end result is almost like a black camo, and while it may not be to everyone's preference, even people who wouldn't have it on their own car say it looks amazing. I get many compliments on it quite frequently, recently someone rolled down their window at the light before seed to table to tell me and then another person stopped to compliment it on my way out of the grocery.
The project was really demanding for their shop because it ended up being way more physical time than they predicted but they never screwed me over and never rushed it even though they basically lost money for how many hours they had in it. They stuck very true to their original price they quoted me and still gave the project their all.
I have spent easily over 10 grand with Evan and his shop over all these projects and they have done projects that make mine pale in comparison with scale and price. Walking through their shop is so fun because they do such unique builds its like seeing an episode of pimp my ride. They aren't the cheapest in town but he's always fair and guarantees his work. He stands by his projects and warranties everything. I had a sub go out and he immediately took care of it. I will continue to take all my car projects to him and plan on letting him do some work on my wife's...
Read moreI love what they’ve done! I received quotes from several shops, and theirs by far the most comprehensive. It wasn’t the lowest, but it wasn’t egregiously over the top, which you can sometimes expect in Naples. I had very specific Audio unit in mind for a very unique vehicle. The gentlemen found all the necessary pieces to make it work in just a couple days, then installed the entire system in one day, flawlessly. I’m already planning an additional custom install in the very near future. I can’t say enough about them, they have done a wonderful job. I’m honoured to be their first client in their new, larger shop! You can’t go wrong here!!! Ian...
Read moreI want to share the positive experience I've had with Audio Design of Naples and Evan, who took care of me from beginning to end. To begin with, Evan came to my house to look at my boat's sound system without me even asking. I was sold on JL Audio and he suggested that the better bang for my buck may be Rockford Fosgate system. After doing some due diligence I agreed and went with 2-8 inch tweeter speakers, 2-8 inch standard speakers, a 12 inch bass and a 1500 watt amp. The sound is absolutely ridiculous. Evan also did some very nice side work on under gunnel lighting, an USB charger and an LED light that he totally customized. Thanks Evan,...
