A perfect combination of fun and delicious.
I have, admittedly, been here many times before June 13th. But that is neither here nor there. The only thing you need to know is that this place has cheap mini golf and some of the best ice cream around.
The mini golf portion is about $5.50 a person, young ones being cheaper. The course is your typical 18 holes. But this course is quite challenging and I have only sunk a few Hole-in-Ones here. There is a sweet deep blue fountain/waterfall that runs through most of the park. My ball has gone in the water more times than I care to admit.
The challenging but fun course aside, the real gem here is their ice cream. Imported all the way from Madison, Wisconsin, this is some of the best that I have. It easily is in my Top 3. My usual is a Caramel ChocoLatte. Sooooo good. The company they get it from is called Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream and I really want to visit Madison, Wisconsin one day to have ice cream directly from them.
All in all, a great place to spend an afternoon putting balls and devouring ice cream. This is actually one of the few places on my blog that falls into two categories. Mini Golf and Ice Cream Shack, since you can pop in and enjoy ice cream without ever stepping...
Read moreWe went here for the first time with a large group of 11 of us this past Sunday! Some of us hadn’t been before and the 2 girls working were rockstars! We came as a church group and had recently reached our previously to share group rate and that our group would be accepted with how many we had. The immediately got back to us. The 2 young girls killed it! They were kind, attentive, fast, and they even cared for our large group while taking care of 20+ customers that came before and after us. I love that they had a Bible verse of the week. It was fun seeing some of our kids participate in that in hopes their verse would be picked for the weeks to come to be featured. The ice cream was delicious and they had a million flavors to choose from! They even had a shake of the month and it was huge and related to the 4th of July! We definitely...
Read moreHonestly super disappointed.. I've been wanting to take my 5yo here for a while now, and finally had the chance today. The place was super run down.. Weeds growing all around, end of March and last year's dead ornamental grasses still not tended to and pulled, half the water features not working, and the synthetic greens were in terrible shape (carpet pulled, wrinkled, and dirty). We stopped golf early as it wasn't even really that fun.. We looked forward to ice cream afterwards but all but 2 tables either had trash or were not cleaned. I'd like to blame this on low staffing but both kids were just hanging out on their phones in the back, not even busy. 2 stars only because they were very nice.. but not really worth the money in my opinion. Super sad. We were really looking...
