Would recommend this path to anyone. You can start at any point along the way depending on how difficult you’d like it to be. The beginning entrance at India Point park is a little difficult to find with the google maps directions. The middle stretch is very easy, minimal hills and turns; just great views. A few little restaurants and an ice cream shop right along the trail. I stopped for a taco and a margarita at the Unionburrito mid point stop but it’s next to the ice cream shop. Depending on the season; you will need sunglasses etc because it is all along the water so there tend to be some flies. There’s an okay amount of shading but I would wear long sleeves...

The East Bay Bike Path is a beautiful, newly paved bike path that starts in Providence and ends in Bristol Rhode island. Along the way there are dozens of scenic water views as well as nature preserves and at one point the bike path crosses Colt State Park which gives additional trails to ride along the water and through the park. does a Del's lemonade stand in Warren as well as a cart and Colt State Park. I find riding to Bristol to be the ultimate goal where there are dozens of restaurants and places to refuel for the ride home. This is a...

As of this writing, July 23, '25, too much of this trail is fenced off and closed, and the parts that are open are poorly marked and not the easiest to navigate if you're a first time visitor to this trail. I got lost and explored the Blackstone neighborhood. It turned out to be a beautiful, exclusive area of city with lovely land- and hard-scaping where the major roads have dedicated bike lanes.

Parking was easy, people were super friendly but I did not get to see the ocean. I doubt I will go back to this trail and instead will just drive down...

What a great bike and walk path. Lots to discover, landmarks, lighthouses, beaches. I spotted an heron, ducks, Canadian geese, lots of seagulls and a Red Robin and a blue jay fighting. I tried to catch it on video but no use. It was busy not too busy for a Tuesday early afternoon. Make sure you bring some water, there are only a few places to get on and off. There was parking at the east providence end. Not sure about the other end , I started in Riverside.
