Field House Pub — Restaurant in East Providence

Good Neighborhood Bar! Foosball table, darts board, hookah, jukebox and billiards. We came before the show started so there wasn’t too much going on before hand but if there is an event here : this is a great spot! We had a mai tai, Guinness and just stopped by for a quick drink but they have food available as well. I wish I came here with a group of friends in the summer - it seems like the perfect spot to be all night if you have everyone with you. When we arrived; someone let us know there were some unused credits on the jukebox we could use (I think the owner put them there for people to use when there is no queue for songs up to get it started?) but then later a DJ (?) arrived to start. Plenty of places to smoke, ash trays on every outdoor setting and tent covers with lights above for hanging outside even when it’s raining. Mostly cash only. Plenty of parking....

We went to see the fireworks at Pierce Field. We got $5 parking right next to the Field House Pub. I said let's go over there and have a drink before the fireworks start. We were so surprised that the place was huge. From the outside it looks like a hot dog stand but when you go down the stairs you will be amazed! There was a DJ and a really nice bartender named Melissa. We were introduced to the owner and we couldn't believe how hard he worked! It was a bonus to see the fireworks there. We were so close! And all the while we were sipping on our beers on the patio. What a great night and it was my boyfriend's birthday too. We will be back again....

As a graduated East Providence Townie who moved back to RI a few years back and who went to Le Fieldhouse with its cute Fleur De Lis mailbox w. my pals Carlos Ferreira & Tyler Burton in 2017 to stop at an EP bar before we drove me up to Maine to live with my Dad & Stepmom, I can't complain much about Fieldhouse Pub except for the fact Steve consistently manages to think someone whose 5'6 & maxes out around 170 pounds is a "Big Guy" just for a Gaulouisian Hat.
