Sabin Point Waterfront Park — Attraction in East Providence

Awesome park to go with kid's all ages, there's a dock by the water side, water smells like beach water, ocean water, can be strong but I love it, there are swings for babies and/or toddler's 2 sets of playground area although be careful for the older looking one has a whole within the walking area where a child's foot can fit through. The newer playground is more suitable for older children, 1 full basketball court and another half court for younger children the court is even brought down so they be able to make a couple shots in or dunk depending on size or age of child, they also put in some new backboards and net to the full court, an ice cream truck usually rides by, just incase. Plenty of parking, fun place for kid's to play, or a stroll. Be careful for geese poop, was there last, not always like that though, did not see any restrooms or...

Great Community Park. Very Nice neighborly folks here in Riverside. There is a playground on one side of the park, with a winding path through out the park and along waterside making it a great afternoon stroll.. There is a fishing dock on one side of the park and along waterside along with a small concrete boat ramp best used when tide is high. Great for fishing, or small vessels as has been for many years.... Water is not swimmable at all!! There are small sighns to let you know, and i definitely recommend you don't due to very rough tides mainly)) but also the sharp rocks, shells and fisherman's gear threw out the years... Park is monitored by friendly neighbors and local authorities daily just to ensure safety. This is all around a very clean and safe park! I will be coming again to...

I was disturbed at how nasty this park was when I brought my kids there today. Is the beach ever raked? The horrendous stench coming from the water and rotting blankets of seaweed was unnaturally pungent and sulfur-like. I can’t fathom how anyone would want to eat anything that was caught in the water there. The amount of broken glass littering the sand and grass, even the playground sand was astounding. No swings on the children’s swing set so it was just the rusty frame chilling there. I have been here a few other times over the past 4 years and it wasn’t this bad.
