I love it here in the summer. Especially the fall. Its so peaceful walking the trails. Use bug spray. Or you will get eaten up. But otherwise if your prepared for this trip you will have a great time. Theres also a big playground around the corner. Thats were i begin and end my walks. People are friendly. Great for dog walking or just some much needed head space for thinking. Fishing is ok here.its something to do and stay out of trouble.they also hold festivals a few times a year. The historic part is really cool. Such a big diffrence from their time of hardworking kind lives..to what the hell is happening to our people now..its ashame.. Smile more and hi and please and thank you..its goes a long way..you just may have made somebody smile whos so sad inside.. Anyway.. Happy trails.. Great little trip here for you or...

He needs and loves to walk but needs rest stops along the way. We go there often and have for many years. We love the area and encourage others to use it. Our daughter had her wedding reception on the Mansion grounds and it...

I’ve seen deer, turkey, chipmunks, vultures, turtles, cardinals, blue jays and others I’m sure I’m forgetting. The only downside is everyone seems to know about this place and it gets pretty crowded, especially on weekends. In the summer it can be especially clustered with kids. There’s often people walking the trails and smoking or unleashed dogs running around but I know not everyone understands trail etiquette. I recommend visiting on weekdays during the...
