This park is awesome. There are two enclosures; one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger dogs (or general area). Each enclosure offers agility equipment; however, the general area offers all of the different obstacles whereas the smaller enclosure just offers a couple of them. There are picnic tables to sit on in both enclosures and if you forget your poop bags...don't worry as there are plenty of bags hanging up at the entrance. There are plenty of tennis balls and water dishes but there is NO WATER FOUNTAIN OR WATER SOURCE...so come prepared with a few jugs of water so your furry friend doesn't get dehydrated. And be aware that it's good practice to walk the perimeter of the enclosures as there are many holes in the chain fence where a few smart escape artists have found their way out! Mine included!! Everyone who frequents the park attempts to remedy these problems as they crop up by covering them with logs or whatever they can find. There isn't a lot of parking so try to come earlier or later on busy days. There is a biffy on site for public...
Read moreThe dog park itself was nice, there is a lot of space for the dogs to run around and there are obstacles and tunnels for them to use. Unfortunately, as someone new to the dog park this past Saturday it was a bad experience with other people and their dog. I was told by the dog's owner that it has recent history of this behavior with new timid dogs (which my dog is). We have had no issues at other dogs parks and while I know incidents can happen, there are ways to minimize likelihood and help manage behavior. Additionally, there is a group of people that seem to know each other well and set a very unwelcome tone for new people. It's unfortunate that this tone was set and we will not...
Read moreThis is a fantastic dog park. Operated by the Three Rivers organization its kept in very good condition, year round. You need a membership to go, you can buy an annual pass or pay on site for a day pass. Great parking, an okay public restroom available in the summer, they have doggie bags too! There's a part of the park separated for small dogs or older dogs that aren't quite up to the rough and tumble play that some of the younger bigger dogs dish out in the main area. There's also a pond that's fenced off separately if you would like to use that area. Lots of great dogs, great owners, and fun times to be has here. There's a walking trail around the perimeter of the park if you want to get some...
