Here's the deal with Eden Vietnamese Restaurant - you know those places that the IT guys from work talk about going to for lunch, where they get huge plates of rice and gloppy chicken and an egg roll? This is the absolute PINNACLE of those types of places. It is a LEGEND for how well it executes this formula and also for how much of a mystery it is. As you can see in the pictures it is not uncommon to have lines of 20+ people waiting for lunch. Because everyone loves a legend and everyone loves gluttonous portions of spicy ginger chicken.

But like I said it's a place that generates questions. I mean none of their menu seems like Vietnamese food, why do they call it Vietnamese Restaurant? Why do they only have SHRIMP TOAST on Fridays? What's in the secret sweet and sour sauce you have to ask for? Why only open for lunch? Does anyone really understand the menu and pricing? It's ridiculous. It's like a huge delicious msg enhanced mystery!

For the FOOD it's really basically SPICY GINGER CHICKEN or gtfo. Some people insist BEEF AND POTATOES is good and I'll admit I've had it and it's pretty legit but rice and fried potatoes is just maybe a mental block I can't get over. With respect to the NOODLES they are pretty good as an entrée but oddly don't pair well as a side with other mains. Recommend NOT going for the NOODLE UPGRADE. The EGG ROLLS are good, wontons can be good depending on freshness and SHRIMP TOAST on Fridays is a huge fan favorite.

Been going to Eden for years. Started with Friday lunches with our co workers. Recently have not visited as often as we are now retired, but have stopped for beef potatoes often after appointments near by. Stopped on Friday to pick up lunch and take home. Quality of the beef was not typical for what we have had in the past. The beef was cut thicker and was quite chewy. Totally unlike what we have experienced in the past. The egg rolls were very good as they always have been. Tried the cream cheese filled won tons and they were lacking for cheese filling. They were good, but mostly absent of filling. There is no longer signage of what the menu is for the day either. Thought it was odd that there was curry chicken also as a lunch feature. Not sure when that has been offered, but something new. It is just not the same as what we experienced over the years and is...

I found out about this place through a coworker. The day she took me there for the time, forever changed my life! I frequented the restaurant 2-3x a week when I worked nearby. However since quitting my job to be a stay at home mama, I havent been able to get back there. I've been CRAVING the beef and potatoe for almost 4 years now! The limited hours are a total bummer for those of us who dont live around the area. I wish they were open later or on weekends. I'd give 4 stars just for that but the 5 stars are solely based on the food, quality of the food, portion and service. All of those are exceptional! As I've said the beef and potatoe is the only thing I've had and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD! SOOOO GOOOOD! My coworkers have said the other (limited) menu items are amazing as well. This place never disappoints! Go there between 11-2pm. Bring cash or check and be...

Delicious food, great ambience and an awesome service. We ordered Manchurian chicken, Sweet and sour chicken, Egg rolls, Chicken lo mein and Fried rice. All were in generous portions with pretty good taste and flavor. I am a fan of Hakkah food and I m always looking for different options. This place is definitely worth revisiting. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED everyone to try their menu items.

This is a Vietnamese restaurant, but it was bought by a Pakistani family and they host weekend iftars with traditional Pakistani food for Ramadan. The food (both Vietnamese and Pakistani) is delicious. The traditional iftari buffet had all the items you would dream of having and every single thing was so good, I almost cried.
