Went to this store yesterday and left with a bitter taste in my mouth. A cashier (unsure of her name but she’s older with very short hair) was extremely loud and rude to me upon check out. I was standing by the cash register, when I looked back and saw a line forming. No one was at the cash registers, so we all just stood there patiently. Two ladies behind me said to me that there had just been three cashiers not too long ago and now no one was there. I told them I had just seen them going to the room up front, perhaps they were in there talking. Then, this lady who was super loud and extremely rude, yelled at me telling me “I AsKed you if YoU weRE ReADy to ChEcK out and you diDn’T RePLy, So I WeNt To dO SoMeThInG ElSe”. First of all, I did not hear her talking to me whenever I WAS STILL BROWSING… if I was ready or not, there was no reason for her to yell at me without thinking I wouldn’t talk back. I wasn’t the only customer waiting in line. She had a line while her cash register was vacant.. idc who you are, you do NOT yell at customers. Her job is to keep an eye out in case a LINE FORMS not just the customer whom she had asked ArE you ReAdY. Horrible customer service from this lady.. hopefully management sees this reviews and discusses her behavior. It takes a lot for me to say something or to be ugly.. she told the ugly out of me that day and I will never go back and spend my money...
Read morePrices were very reasonable upon the stores initial opening, but they've steadily risen and it's to the ridiculous point. Organizing clothing by color definitely makes it look more organized, but in reality, organizing by size makes things way easier for the customer. The rear of the store had many display racks with all the various knick knacks and miscellaneous items. These have all been moved up front to the more "exclusive" area and has become entirely too crowded. And mentioning the "exclusive" area, where the glass display cases are, the items deemed more valuable are kept here. The various valuable items are priced at the employees discretion and if she feels it was priced too low initially, she'll just go ahead and change it to reflect her opinion. The employees have stated multiple times the store is by far the most profitable in the region. I don't know what the incentive is, and I know the Salvation Army appears to be for a good cause, but reaming individuals financially just for bragging rights is wrong. The thought process of being able to charge more based on the City you're located is nonsensical. If I had endless disposable income I wouldn't be thrift storing. Come back down to reality with your pricing and I'm sure you'll bring some...
Read moreEvery Wednesday when they have the 25% off sale there’s this older guy who buys and resells jeans and hogs the entire men’s jeans isle with his cart and doesn’t let anyone in to look at jeans. He’s literally in the isle for hours. And nobody is allowed to go in there, my boyfriend tried to look at a pair at the end of the isle and he pushed his cart in front of him so he couldn’t. The staff or corporate really needs to handle this situation. Is completely unfair that low income people and families can’t buy jeans that are discounted at a reasonable price because he takes them all and only leaves the damaged ones with holes all over. This man is greedy and takes away from people who actually need clothes just so he can profit off of it. He’s there every single week. Is this what salvation army stands for? I thought they stood on the unfortunate/ low income people’s side. I guess not since they let him get away with this every...
