Stars & Stripes Pizza Edmond ok 73003 — Restaurant in Edmond

I have been a loyal customer of Stars and Stripes Pizza for several years. The OKC location was my first experience and I have never had any issues with the food or the service from that location. I moved to Edmond 2 years ago and was very glad to learn that there was an Edmond location. That is where my issues began. Today the manager of the Edmond location was very RUDE and I am telling EVERYONE to be wary of doing business at this establishment. I ordered pizza to be delivered. After not receiving delivery for over an hour, I called to find out what the delay was and was immediately told that they attempted to deliver to me and called me several times. I received no calls to my phone and no one rang the doorbell or knocked and I assure you that no one tried to deliver to my house. (The driver did call my cell but it was on silent) PERIOD. I asked if my order could be delivered again and was attempting to confirm my address when she interrupted me to let me know that this was the second time there was a problem with delivery to my house and they would not deliver my order (that I paid for!) This is the moment that I became a little angry. There has NEVER been any issue delivering any order to my home. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager was not there, and when I insisted on speaking to a supervisor, guess who was suddenly there.....he had a horrible attitude, was not interested in listening to anything I had to say and instead tried to talk over me and interrupt and basically called my a liar. He ended the call by telling me that I should call someone else in the future, that they would not deliver to me ever again and did not want a customer like me. You do not deserve customers like me or any potential customers that read this review. The absolute WORST place to order pizza. The most rude and hostile staff I have ever experienced. Do not waste your time and money on this business!! Be aware that the negative reviews on this business show a pattern of a staff unwilling to fix issues that customers have and instead blame the customer for the mistakes they make when a honorable business that truly cares about taking care of the people would do whatever it took to correct their mistakes and make the customer happy. Since this is not a priority for Stars and Stripes, they will not be in business much longer if they continue to drive good customers away by treating them as they did me. Update: The response from the owner below is a HUGE reason to heed my warning...anyone publicly posting someone elses address should not be trusted!! NO ONE ANSWERED BECAUSE YOU WENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS!! That is not the address I gave you. That is what I was trying to get across to you but you were too concerned about explaining things to me, you couldn't keep your mouth shut long enough to listen!! NO wonder the people at the house you went to didn't come to the door either, I wouldn't answer either. I would have called the cops if someone was knocking on my window. pathetic!!!!! Since you want to be "fair", I never claimed your driver did not call me. He did. My phone was on silent and I was not aware it was, so I called him back. I have never written an online review before, but here it goes. Ordered 2 large pizzas and was told 45 min to an hour, which is fine. An hour and 20 min later I call the pizza place. The guy that answers tell me that the guy that took my order did not get my number and that when they came to my house no one answered. I am sure they get this problem more than they would like but I am certain the dude never came to this house. Sitting downstairs with no TV on, two screaming kids from malnourishment, but I would have heard a knock or doorbell. Since they did not have my number down correctly they were not able to call me. To be honest, the guy sounded unsure and story seemed odd. Kind of like when you were younger and had been drinking and your parents are quizzing you down about your night and why you only have one shoe on when you clearly left with two - questions are asked and answers are given, but not in the best order or with the most clear, coherent detail, you get me. He was very quick to ask me if I just wanted to cancel my order and get my money back. I really think they forgot to make the pizza but the guy did not want to come out and say it. I told him no, I had already invested a couple of years waiting on the pizza so go ahead and deliver. The guy apologized, checked that my address was written down correctly, and said give him 30 min. 45 min later I called to check on the guy and no answer. Never received our pizza tonight, 10:30 pm and kids are hungry - they have totally went rogue - tried to eat each other, 2 cans of playdough and half a gallon of animal crackers. Craziest and most disappointing service ever. I have never felt so helpless, like my mind started to go to crazy places.....do I call the BBB, local newspaper or one of those news "in your corner" type crews that uncover poor business practices. I would be a hero, the Erin Brockovich of take out scams...I even had picked out the actress that would play me in the lifetime movie version, yep you guessed it, Susan Lucci, the Meryl Streep of daytime TV.

Update: As I was typing the pizza man arrived. He was kind and told me he voided the transaction, so free pizza. Want to give credit when do, the pizza is amazing. Seriously great. The kids might get refeeding syndrome, but loving the pizza. So yeah, I will definitely...
