Evergreen Hollow Park — Attraction in Effingham

I love this park, I've been bringing my kids here for more than 15 years. There is tons to do! There's a section of the park that's better suited for smaller children, there's one that is brand new and perfect for older kids. The gaga ball pit is always a bit. There is a small creek the kids can play in and a few walking trails. We love to walk around looking at the butterflies! Many tree species are labeled which is fun. The bathrooms are well kept. There's also soccer fields, pickleball/tennis courts, and I believe basketball courts. There's usually plenty of parking. Evergreen Park was a beautiful and accessible park with lots of amenities including playgrounds, walking paths, a pool and a dog park. There were clean restrooms that had real plumbing (not a hole in the ground toilet like many park bathrooms are). There were also watering fountains for both dogs and humans.

I took my dogs to the dog park, which was well maintained. There was a section for both large and small dogs. My only complaint is that there isn't much shade at the dog park, but they have young trees planted within the park. They just...
