This has been the third time that we have been to this restaurant and we’re seated and no one came to wait on us and they were waitresses walking all around. No one ever came to wait on us so after 15 minutes, I got up and went towards the door, my husband went on out because as I said, this is the third time that we have Tried to eat at this particular restaurant in Effingham. As I walked toward the door, I saw I guess it was the manager hostess whatever she was at the cash register at that time and she had three other people with her. I’m assuming new waitress staff anyway I told her that we hadn’t been waited on and we were leaving and I was very disappointed because this is the third time if that had happened to us at this restaurant. She said oh I’m sorry no one came to wait on you. No, I said no one came to wait on us and one of the other gals with her said well we’re short staffed and I looked at her and I said well if I told my patience, I’m sorry we can’t help you cause we’re short staffed. That’s no excuse. I wasn’t hateful. I just said it matter fact and I said you know this is the third time this has happened to us in this restaurant Not that it will make any difference to any of you but I I’m sure we probably won’t be back. And I left and I am only commenting on this because it seems to be more and more like this not just at Buffalo wild wings in Effingham, Illinois. But at other eating establishments. Is very sad that this is the way the world is today. My husband and I really enjoy the food there, but I doubt that we’ll be back again. And as I said before, not that it will make any difference to you but I feel better at least talking about it. And by the way, there were only three other tables in there and two people at the bar when we went in and everyone, but the people at the bar were already eating their food so I don’t know why someone couldn’t wait on us. Thank you...
Read moreWell, let's just start off with our very first encounter with them. We walked in, 4 of us (2 adults 2 children), and we asked for a booth. This was on a sunday night, when next to no one was eating there. The server shouts something about having sat the same server 3 times in a row, when Taylor with a neck tattoo comes over to tell her where to seat us. Neck tattoo takes over and when i asked if a booth was available, she said, "no, we don't have any available for you." I could clearly see there were 3 unattended booths, and one dirty booth, but i assumed they were reserved.
We sat down, and right next to us was an open booth. Kind of shrugged my shoulders in confusion but I moved on. Our server was very sweet. She did all she could and that was nice of her. In fact, when she came by, I asked her if the table next to us was reserved for another party, or if for that matter the other booths had been spoken for, to which she replied, "no." I said, "oh, we were told we couldn't sit in a booth because there were none available." She replied, " HAHAH, I don't know why anyone would say that, we have like 5 of them open."
So, the food was just as it usually was, no issues there. Our server was very kind, but I don't understand why neck tattoo felt the need to lie to us. I even saw her sit 2 people in the seat next to us, asking them, "will this work for you or do you wanna try another booth?" That minutes after we were sat elsewhere.
If this is the worst thing that will happen to me this week, than I know I have little to complain about. I just hate being lied to, especially over such an...

Restaurant had two waiters managing all tables on memorial day weekend, when we entered the front desk staff was very flustered and told us at least a 30 min wait. They took our number and we left, within 30 mins we received a phone call which we missed but called back immediately to no answer.
When we returned to the restaurant, we were informed since we missed the call the staff had to go into the kitchen to confirm we still had a table. We could hear the front desk staff member talking about us in the kitchen. After he returned he stated that they were now down to one waiter running all tables.
Midway through our meal, the waiter informed us, they needed to leave for their second job.
This restaurant appears to have recurring issues as the last visit was over 2 years ago, in which my family had to wait over 1 hr 30mins for an appetizer. I hoped things would have been corrected by now but Covid appears to have made things much worse.
BWW is usually my go to restaurant in the Kansas City area but visiting family in IL is no longer the time for...
