On October 15th, I attended the adventure park with some of my friends. As we were checking in, we informed the lady working at the box office that one of our friends would not be coming and asked if it was possible to get a refund. She told us that she could do something about it and asked us to stop by before leaving. We had a great time at the park and were so hungry that we forgot to stop by. By the time I remembered, the park was closed, and we were far away as we had to drive back to Boston.
I called the next day on 10/16 and explained the situation. The person on the phone was kind enough to request my information and informed me that I would receive a refund within a few days.
I checked my bank statement on 10/27 and noticed that Catamount had still not issued a refund, so I proceeded to follow up and called again. Another person answered and I explained my situation, mentioning my previous call. They looked up my order and assured me that they had just processed a refund, and I would see it in a few days.
Today, on 11/7, I followed up again as I still saw no refund. I explained my situation and mentioned my previous interactions with different employees and their unfulfilled promises regarding my refund. The lady on the phone identified herself as Lisa, the manager, and told me that they had a no refund policy and wouldn't be able to issue me a refund. I communicated how unfair this was, as her staff seemed uninformed about their refund procedures, and had me chasing this money for about a month. She seemed to laugh at the fact that I didn't remember who I had talked to, almost mocked me for not knowing their names, and low key insinuated that I was making this up and that I was lying. Lisa, your behavior was extremely unprofessional, and as a guest who drove almost 300 miles to have a good time with their friends, this outcome is...

Each features a variety of challenge elements, such as ziplines, climbing and crossings from tree to tree. An ingenious double carabiner system means that you are always attached, so there is zero chance of plummeting to the ground. The safety instructions are readily understood and easily mastered. Arrive 30 minutes early to allow time to park, get your wristband at the ticket booth (even if you purchased online tickets), and hike a short distance to the park. There are picnic tables and benches for those who just want to watch. After 2 PM, the crowd thinned considerably. Staff were engaged, friendly and helpful. A great experience; we...
Read moreOnly an hour and 20 min drive from Hartford area— this was definitely worth it for a day of ziplining and climbing adventures in the trees. Beautiful views!! Equipment was very safe and clean. Staff provided clear instructions and demos, were super friendly and professional. I took my tween daughters here for a late summer day trip and we had an absolute blast! When we went, only vending machine snacks and drinks were available on site (and plenty of free cold water)— for lunch you can head 5 min in either direction from the resort for great local eats. Thanks to Terry, Shane, Aaron, Morgan and plenty of others at Catamount who made...
