Absolutely amazing stay! My wife and I booked this spot for a summer getaway, and Mike and Kimberly went above and beyond to make it perfect. Breakfast and coffee every morning were a great way to start the day. The pool was always the perfect temperature and wonderfully quiet—ideal for reading, napping, or enjoying a drink and conversation, with nothing but the sound of the breeze and the occasional passing car. If you’re looking to unplug and truly relax, this is the place. There’s a bar on-site during restaurant hours, but Mike and Kimberly were happy to make us drinks even when it wasn’t open. Kimberly’s hospitality made us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived. We even brought our own gin, and they happily brought ice buckets for both our room and the poolside whenever we asked. The ambiance of the lodge was amazing as well. It felt like a summer camp for adults. Also, if you get a chance try the restaurant at the hotel. Its a very well crafted menu with amazing food and presentation. Not to mention their signature cocktails are on point. Don’t miss the sauna—followed by a refreshing dip in the pool. The location is also perfect, just minutes from Hillsdale, NY, and Great Barrington, MA, both full of charming shops, great coffee, and delicious food. We're hoping to come back for a winter visit cause its just too cute and cozy to not be there in the snow. But we highly recommend for a summer visit!

Our room was very nice and the location is great. I kind of want to give a four stars because they did fix and try to make up for the major shortcoming of the broken air conditioner in our room. There were a lot of problems. The dining room air conditioner was making the same noise. The server at the continental breakfast was very nice. She made a point of greeting and shaking the hand of every customer which I thought was cute. The continental breakfast was just okay. I did appreciate that they had quality teas. There was no cereal or granola which seemed like a missed opportunity. Bagels were at least a day old and tough. The restaurant was just okay. We felt duped because the website made it sound like the folks from Mile End in New York were running the kitchen and they clearly weren't. Another customer told me that there have been quite a few people who have tried to run the kitchen here, but only the first one was good. We would have booked somewhere else had we known. Nothing was terrible, but my fish and chips was very sad looking. The baked macaroni and cheese was not baked and barely cheesy. There were drama at other tables because the service was so slow. Also, hard to get another round of drinks. We were grateful that we didn't have to travel to go to dinner but we would not eat there again.

I can’t express my gratitude enough for the kindness that we were treated with at the Little Cat Lodge. I’m almost 9 months pregnant, and my son is almost 5 yo. Jo from the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable: she found activities and trails for us to do that were kid and pregnancy-friendly, made a pot of decaf coffee just for me in the morning, told me what foods I might want to avoid during breakfast and in general was as nice and considerate as a human could be. Truly, I’ve never met anyone as attentive at the hotels in my life. And hotel itself is very cute, very well designed, every little detail is perfect and goes well with the rest. The room was spacious, I loved the sitting area with Noguchi lamp, our good looking bed, art on the wall and D S Durga shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion! They smelled so good that I’m now planning to order them for our home. The only thing I feel bad about is that we forgot to bring any cash with us for tips, and they don’t accept tips via Venmo. But we will be very happy to come back, and next time we’ll know better. Thank you, Jo and Little Cat Lodge! You are wonderful! Victoria

Location location location! Little Cat Lodge is located on the boarder of MA and NY. On the foothills of the Berkshire Mountain. When you pull out of the driveway at th e lodge and turn down a small road turning left will land you in NY within in a matter of a few minutes. When you turn right you will be in MA in approximately 15 min. The lodge is in a ski resort and it boast a beautiful view of Little Cat Mountain. Hillsdale as well as the surrounding area is like staying at a forest full of trees and country roads to discover. Little Cat Lodge also has two ponds on the property and is readily available to walk from the room you have booked. We enjoyed sitting out on the large private patio from our room and were delighted to listen to the bull frogs in the evening. The rooms at the Inn are spacious modern and clean. The bed was super comfy the spacious small fridge convient and the shower rain head was extra nice! Ac kept the the room comftorable.Daily housekeeping is available every day and is included in your stay. A big shout out goes out to Lucy for delivering clean towels to our room daily as well as tidying up. The cold bottled lemon mineral water came as a excellent surprise and was refreshing. Thank you Lucy! We enjoyed bombfires the lovely pool and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. Real food! Beach towels are provided daily and the extra bonus was the ice cold lemon water available at the pool which is cold and refreshing on a hot Summer day. The restaurant at the lodge boasts plentiful comfortable chairs tables and a full large sized bar is available. The menu consists of a variety of different choices to choose from. I highly reccomend the avacodo appetizer which is more then enough for two people as well as left over. I love the cilontro and large blue tostado flats which were included in this appetizer. Entree of my choice was the brick chicken. Delicious! Beverage of choice was the blueberry spritzer IPA. Thank you's goes out to our server and bartender and chef for preparing a delicious meal as well as for the excellent service and hospitality. Little Cat Lodge also goes put of their way to accomadate guests as well as include travel suggestions for the nearby area. If you have dietary restrictions including breakfast foods Little Cat lodge will accomadate guests. A big shout out to Kimberly as well as Tosha for providing the hot water thermal container for oatmeal on a daily basis for several days. Thank you. Id also like to thank Mike as well as the team for making our seven day vacation stay at the lodge a memorable as well a pleasurable stay. I highly recommend Little Cat Lodge you cant beat the hospitality amenities and location. We hope to return for...

I stayed at the Little Cat Lodge in early July 2024 as part of a wedding group. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing on multiple fronts.

First, the room conditions were unacceptable. The AC units were excessively loud, disrupting sleep even when turned off, and the bathroom facilities were substandard. Shelves and mirrors were poorly installed, with some shelving visibly falling off the walls. To make matters worse, some guests in the wedding party reported finding dirty glassware left in their rooms upon check-in.

More concerning was the service. The wedding party had coordinated a welcome event on the patio, but upon arrival, the hotel manager Tammi not only claimed the hotel wasn’t prepared and stated they weren’t expecting us—despite prior arrangements—but also came across as rude and dismissive. With nearly 100 guests present, there was insufficient glassware, minimal drinks, and no support staff, leading to a disorganized and frustrating experience.

Months after the event, the couple has sought compensation for these issues but has been met with silence from both the hotel and its management company.

While the location may have charm, the lack of preparation, poor facilities, and unresponsive management make it impossible to recommend the Little Cat Lodge.

I also know that several other guests who stayed at the hotel share similar frustrations and may feel compelled to share their experiences publicly if the hotel continues to remain...
