I ALWAYS have fun in the concerts. I have too many pictures. What can you expect? During the spring time, the concerts are perfect not to cold or hot. Enough for a light sweater. summer time it's hot so expect to sweat. The fall concerts are great too just take a sweater. The cocktail drinks are $8 dollars in the concerts OUTSIDE and the beers are also 8 dollars. There is always food and the lines are ridiculously long. Expect to wait 50 min or more just for a beer. I recommend getting there early if you want to eat drink and find a good place for the concerts. When the concerts are INSIDE it is extremely hot, and they don't let you smoke in that specific area anymore. In the casino areas, there is an area for smoking and another for non smokers. Drinks are good and dont expect to make a line, it's faster to sit at the bar or catch the attention of a bartender. The tables are ALWAYS occupied and full. Specially in the areas where you can get food. Oh, and the food, it's ABSOLUTELY delicious.... sometimes we just go there to eat. So it's great for a tourist stop, a night out with friends or just to hang out. Totally recommend. (As a person who goes there every 2-3 weeks)

Speaking Rock is a great Casino. Keep in mind these are Class II machines which use BINGO to show what you win. Most people won't see the difference between these and Class III Always a great time here. They have 5 bars and probably about 2500 slots. Also they have recently added Roulette and Video Poker. There is a small bingo hall but check the schedule as it is not daily. They do a lot of drawings throughout the year. If you are a new player you get 2,000 ($20) points you can spend on Drinks, food etc. One recent change in FEB 2024 was all beers and seltzer were $4.00 and they jumped up to $6.00. A 50% rise overnight. Many regulars are not happy about this. They did start Happy Hour Mon -Thurs from 11am to 4pm. Concerts are plenty and are really great. The outdoor area is so amazing and NFL football outside is always a party especially when Dallas is playing. They are constantly adding new machines, and contests, music, bands... there seems to always be something new. There is only one small Cafe. A sit down restaurant would be ideal for them to add next.

It is difficult for me to make this review. I am not really a gambler. And Speaking Rock Casino is all about gambling machines. I speak from my own perspective and experiences there. It is one of the places where most locals gather to gamble and to listen to live music. The times that I have been there it has been mostly to go and listen live bands outside and Mariachis on Sundays. I have been there other times when local bands play outside during the week. But just recently I went to listen to Chubby Checker. The outside beer garden was divided in different sections to the point where people were not dancing. I couldn't belive it because Chubby Checker's music is an invitation to dance. The set up was just not right for dancing. The place has a bar section outside mostly for beer. It is inside where they serve more mixed drinks. The staff is very efficient trying to keep the place super clean. The events are free and the food is actually very good. Everything there is well structural and one feels safe because the place has high security.

Speaking Rock is more than just a casino; it's a vibrant entertainment hub that truly stands out in the El Paso area! If you're looking for a fantastic night out with diverse entertainment options, this is definitely the place to go. One of the biggest draws is their incredible live music scene. Speaking Rock consistently brings in a fantastic lineup, from renowned national acts to top-tier tribute bands, and they even showcase local talent. The energy during a live performance is absolutely electric, and what's even better is that many of these concerts are free to the public – a huge bonus! Whether you're into rock, country, Latin, or something else, you're likely to find something that gets you moving. Their recent expansion with high ceilings and neon lights, including a non-smoking area and new bars with big-screen TVs, has really elevated the atmosphere. Beyond the music, Speaking Rock offers a lively gaming experience. While it operates as a Class II gaming facility with electronic bingo and other similar games, the excitement is still palpable. Many visitors report having a great time and even walking away with some wins. They also host special events like slot and poker tournaments, adding another layer of thrill. The food and drink options are also a highlight. Guests rave about the quality of the bar food, with some mentioning delicious free chips, salsa, and guacamole. The drink prices are often noted as very reasonable, making for an even more enjoyable and affordable evening. The atmosphere at Speaking Rock is consistently praised. It's a place where you can relax, have fun, and feel the positive energy. The recent renovations have added a modern, big-city feel, and the new non-smoking section is a welcome addition for many. Whether you're there for a specific concert, to try your luck, or simply to enjoy a lively evening with good food and drinks, Speaking Rock provides a memorable experience. It's a true local gem that offers something...

Don’t go here! If I could give a minus star , I would! Very disappointed with the bar service crew on the Main Bar and security. Just because I misread an advertisement on the digital board and questioned it. After that, my husband and I were completely ignored by the staff. There are ways to explain to patrons of the drink specials, but this particular so called bartender was sassy and gave me attitude. We did pay full price for our drinks and did not mess with the staff or any of the patrons. We were not loud or obnoxious and we were minding our own business. My husband had to leave to another bar to ask for more drinks because NOBODY was tending to us at our “designated” bar. Everyone around us was called hun and sweetie and were being served except for us. Talking about being excluded as if we were in grade school. So childish! When the so called bartender saw that we had drinks in our hands, she questioned her colleagues if they had served us. All of them looked scared and replied no. My husband and I were minding our own business and all of the sudden we were told by security that we had to leave the premises. We were being escorted out by security as if we were criminals! It seemed that the so called bartender didn’t like that we were having a good time without her petty service. She must not have a life besides Speaking Rock. So sad….Security couldn’t even explain to us why we were being escorted out and told us that they were just following orders. Orders from whom?! The petty bartender?! One of the security personnel even told us that we just had to leave for the day and that we could just return the next day. Really?! As if we ever wanna go back! lol. We wrote to Speaking Rock, but I doubt they will...

So, me and my mom went on a mothers daughters night out to see Midland perform and wow. I'd give no stars if I could. That's the first and ABSOLUTE last time I go to a speaking rock for a concert. It was not the parking, I know it gets packed. It was not the full house, we know everyone loves a good concert from a terrific performer. It was a Mr. Karl Maahs, who really just ruined the night for us. We received a wrist band with a name on it that directed us to the table we were going to be sitting at, so we proceeded as directed. Along comes this guy, who immediately starts telling me and my mom "I don't care what your wrist bands say, I need this table. I have four people coming and I need this table." My mom proceeds to tell him that our wristbands say we're supposed to sit at this table, and he continues to cut her off and say " I don't care, I don't care what they told you, there's other tables, you can go to those". We passed by later on the way out and I guess he needed the tables to impress some women? Because he's sitting there with his arms around all these ladies lol. Now, I understand if he came up and said he needed the tables in a professional manner and was courteous and talked to us like we were human beings. No worries sir, just show us where to go and we'll move. However, the way he talked to my mom and I was extremely rude and just so so unprofessional and messy. Like, who talks to people like that? It was even worse that I had to see my mom all bummed out the rest of the night after that interaction. Honestly, really disappointed in the whole situation. Would never spend another penny in there. I don't know who he is or what his position is at Speaking Rock but yeah....
