Read moreDon’t go here! If I could give a minus star , I would! Very disappointed with the bar service crew on the Main Bar and security. Just because I misread an advertisement on the digital board and questioned it. After that, my husband and I were completely ignored by the staff. There are ways to explain to patrons of the drink specials, but this particular so called bartender was sassy and gave me attitude. We did pay full price for our drinks and did not mess with the staff or any of the patrons. We were not loud or obnoxious and we were minding our own business. My husband had to leave to another bar to ask for more drinks because NOBODY was tending to us at our “designated” bar. Everyone around us was called hun and sweetie and were being served except for us. Talking about being excluded as if we were in grade school. So childish! When the so called bartender saw that we had drinks in our hands, she questioned her colleagues if they had served us. All of them looked scared and replied no. My husband and I were minding our own business and all of the sudden we were told by security that we had to leave the premises. We were being escorted out by security as if we were criminals! It seemed that the so called bartender didn’t like that we were having a good time without her petty service. She must not have a life besides Speaking Rock. So sad….Security couldn’t even explain to us why we were being escorted out and told us that they were just following orders. Orders from whom?! The petty bartender?! One of the security personnel even told us that we just had to leave for the day and that we could just return the next day. Really?! As if we ever wanna go back! lol. We wrote to Speaking Rock, but I doubt they will...
Read moreSo, me and my mom went on a mothers daughters night out to see Midland perform and wow. I'd give no stars if I could. That's the first and ABSOLUTE last time I go to a speaking rock for a concert. It was not the parking, I know it gets packed. It was not the full house, we know everyone loves a good concert from a terrific performer. It was a Mr. Karl Maahs, who really just ruined the night for us. We received a wrist band with a name on it that directed us to the table we were going to be sitting at, so we proceeded as directed. Along comes this guy, who immediately starts telling me and my mom "I don't care what your wrist bands say, I need this table. I have four people coming and I need this table." My mom proceeds to tell him that our wristbands say we're supposed to sit at this table, and he continues to cut her off and say " I don't care, I don't care what they told you, there's other tables, you can go to those". We passed by later on the way out and I guess he needed the tables to impress some women? Because he's sitting there with his arms around all these ladies lol. Now, I understand if he came up and said he needed the tables in a professional manner and was courteous and talked to us like we were human beings. No worries sir, just show us where to go and we'll move. However, the way he talked to my mom and I was extremely rude and just so so unprofessional and messy. Like, who talks to people like that? It was even worse that I had to see my mom all bummed out the rest of the night after that interaction. Honestly, really disappointed in the whole situation. Would never spend another penny in there. I don't know who he is or what his position is at Speaking Rock but yeah....
