Pavo Real Park Spray Park — Attraction in El Paso

I can only really do 3 stars. I want to do more but it’s not accurate or fair. There is NO ONE there to stop the bigger kids from pushing and showing and harming the little ones. Adults bring 47 family members and take up space while being rude and disrespectful. The splash part itself is a kids dream. It is everything else around it that is unacceptable. There isn’t enough tables or chairs for people, the parking is bad. Perhaps the fact that it is adjacent to a public pool is part of the issue. Brought my dog here for the first time today! He loved it! It is a gated enclosure, with water spouts that shoot upward. Not too many other dogs there, however. It was mostly clean, and appeared safe. One recommendation I suggest for the establishment owner, is to work on reinforcing a better gate lock system. My son got a horrible injury today from a bigger kid pushing him off the slide. I was there and it happened so quickly that there was nothing I could do. The fact that there is cement under the slides is dangerous! Parents be careful of your children.
