Large forest preserve in North Chicago. The main walking and biking track is paved and goes all around the park around the lake. The track is about 7 miles all around with a few tracks which branch off. There are a few bridges which has dams under it. It is on a river which has been dammed to make a lake. Many people including kids walked down to the lake or river to fish. You do need a fishing license and can catch only up to 2 fish. There are many parking lots. There is a boat loading area too.
