My favorite little treat of the night was their root beer float, and it would not be right without taking a souvenir or two home. I took home an Elk Grove Oktoberfest T-shirt and the beer stein. And, of course, what would Oktoberfest be without the bubbly, amber nectar of the gods? The beer selection I sampled was the light and amber varieties. Regrettably, I couldn't sample every option as I'm mindful of my limits. But Oktoberfest at Rotary Greens wasn't just food and drink but community. Families, friends, and neighbors celebrated, and the camaraderie was palpable. Children played gleefully in the park's playground, and the smiles on their faces mirrored the joy I felt throughout the day.
