I absolutely love this park. Took the family to this splash park as they call it and it was really cool all the stuff they had for children to say with outside. Very safe with a baseball diamond in the middle of the park we went on a Wednesday the first day they turned on the water for the park and there happen to be a little league game taking place that was so cool to see my son who's 5 years old was watching the little guys hit that ball it was so fun. There is plenty of shade and lots of room for a picnic with a cozy blanket and some snacks is all you need. The restroom facilities were very clean for a public park and all the water fountains worked as well. 10 outta 10 park milk

I really enjoyed this park, has lots of fun equipment and very good walking trails nearby. It also has a restroom and a picnic area making it a lot more convienient than many outdoor areas. Walking down from the trail area are some swampy places which makes it fun for those who enjoy swamp critters. There are huge tadpoles and bull frogs in the swampy areas off the trails. If you are not a fan and find that stuff scary, no worries none of these things show up in the main park area.

Love this park! The water features are awesome and my partners kids always have a blast here. There's 2 playgrounds, 1 for toddlers and 1 bigger one for older kids. 1 baseball field and lots of open grass. Couple picnic tables under the gazebo.

We really like Stephenson park, probably because we can walk to it. It's tucked away in a residential area, but a large trail runs along the side of it. There's a preschool that uses a gated little kid play area, so when the school is not in session it's a great area for little kids! We loved coming here with our littles because we felt safe with them in the gated area. Now, our kids use the older area and the water area. The water feature is a nice size that can accommodate lots of kids.

There are swings, a few climbing areas, slides, balance ropes, spin features and a strange roller activity.

There are workout features along the far side and a labyrinth.

There's tons of open grass we've used for dog training, kite flying, and races. The baseball field sometimes gets used as a dog park, but most people are good about cleaning...

Great park! It had everything we were looking for 2 have a birthday party for my daughter. The thing I liked the best is that the shaded area is FREE! 1st come 1st serve. So many parks charge anywhere from $80 to $180 or more to reserve the shaded "gazebo area". This park was clean, had a water/splash feature which the kids loved, it has a gated area with a playground 4 smaller kids & actual real bathrooms! For some reason some of Elk Groves really nice parks have no bathroom? That makes no sense. Parks=kids. Kids=bathrooms. This park also had about 3 or 4 nice bbq's for use & about 8 picnic tables. The only issue I had was so many flies sworming the food. They were really bad! Other then the flies it is...
