It is true that this is one of the Elkhart‘s best kept secrets. I never even knew it was here until the other day! It’s a really relaxing place to walk. There were hardly any other people, and we saw wild turkeys. The trails are short, but well kept. It was very beautiful and our family had a wonderful time.

This was an amazing experience! To learn it was once a landfill, blew my mind! They had a project for my daughter and she built a bat house. Gorgeous views and pathways! It was a treat on our spontaneous decision to join my husband for a work trip.

We came to do a pumpkin search but my question is are these normal size or tiny are they off the paths hidden or just hidden right off the path this is our first time doing this but we are curious thx .any body know ?

The newly paved and well maintained paths around the environmental center with a surprising amount of scenic spots make this an awesome adventure for any nature enthusiast.
