This was a neat little railroad museum in the heart of Kansas. Several of the original buildings have been preserved and the museum contains all kinds of railroad relics and artifacts. We received a tour of the museum highlighting some of the key items and local history. They have a model electric railroad which little kids will enjoy and they offer rides on a larger scale train around the property for an extra fee. The museum was unfortunately closed on Mondays (next time I go to Kansas it needs to be some other day.) The big mural is not part of the museum but sort of across the street so I included it. The yellow caboose is what caught my attention when we were driving through town.

I am sure the museum is nice and we hope to be able to see it sometime in the future when we are in the area on some day other...

My nieces loved the train ride, the miniature train village with working model trains. They also like looking at all the dolls, especially the Barbies!
