I was at the VFW for a Candidate night. It was advertised as starting at 6pm, but in fact that was only when they opened the doors. Finally got started at 7pm, only to find that no one had checked the PA system to see if it worked. Finally got started after 7:30p. The air conditioning was not working, and it was very uncomfortable, but once the program started, it went well for the candidates that showed. The VFW needs to be commended for hosting the event. I just wish it had been physically...

Really nice place. Bingo is the funnest bingo I've been to. The guy who calls out the numbers is like a comedian/DJ. He makes the entire experience so much fun. I actually won for the first time ever here! They do free meals for veterans twice a week. Its a really huge place. They also do a bike night every Thursday during riding season....

I'm a Life Member of the Elyria VFW Post #1079.. Another great place for Veterans to meet, and talk,.. Every Wednesday they have Dinner for the Public and Veterans, always a Great Great menu, and lot's of food! God bless our Veterans both past and...
