I have not walked this park in over 20 years. I was glad to see how well maintained it is being kept and the added equipment looks fun for the kids. I was a little disappointed to find the old playground equipment had been removed but it's still a beautiful park to enjoy. I was excited to see the table with the mushroom stools still there. When I was young that was my favorite spot in the whole park

Nice park, very huge, lots of things to do. Lots of history that most people don't know. Like the circular round rock wall by the pond used to be a monkey island! There are water parks, ponds, disc golf (another thing Emporia originated), baseball fields, and a stream runs through it. Has William White and veteran memorial's you won't want to miss.

This is a great park for the whole family. I love coming to Peter pan park to take photos, what's really cool --- is finding all the little gems hidden in the woods like the beautiful little bridge or monkey island 😊 something new every time I go...

This park was donated by the white family to the city of Emporia a year after thier Daughter Mary passed, it was given under the conditions that it be named Peter Pan Park after Mary and that the people of Emporia never have to pay to use it, which is why this parks pavilions are free, the Disc Golf Course here is pro rated and one of the more difficult courses, there is so much to do here at Peter Pan Park from the many playgrounds, to the water park, to the pond where the William Allen White Memorial is located, it's historical past, and it's immersive playgrounds and disc golf course, opens the future wide for thus Park and those that visit it, whether you are into Emporia History, or just want a place to spend quiet time either alone or with Family, Peter Pan Park is for you, and if you like nature, check out the river walk nature trail that goes from the park to the Veterans Memorial at...

There are trails, a small lake, a creek, trees and seating with cover. It has a wide area to walk your dog or walk with the kids. A lot of people have family photos done there because of the background. It has two parks, a water park also, it has a ball diamond, fish in the water, beautiful nature and is a good place to read a book, to feed ducks and the fish, to have a nice path to walk or jog on. You can explorer, take a nature knap, find cool rocks and also play frisbee golf. Most people there are respectful, polite and keep...

The park itself was great. My kids really enjoy playing in the splash pad, however there is to many kids older kids running and knocking the younger ones down. My little girl is 3 and was run into by an older kid who was running and knocked down. She hit the back of her head on the concrete and cause a big knot on the back of her head. It specifically says in the splash pad rules no running but apparently the rules are not being followed. Luckily my little girl is alright but someone can really get hurt if things...
