Let me just start off by saying that this is a horrible daycare & I do not recommend any parent to enroll their child or children here. The teachers are absolutely great but most teachers don't last because they don't get fair treatment at this daycare. The front desk paints you the utmost perfect picture of this daycare. Lisa (the owner), she doesn't care about the kids or any of her workers all she cares about is the money. She overcrowds classrooms with children not allowing teachers to properly teach or be able to have their class under control. Teachers are always left out of ratio meanwhile management, the front desk, & lisa (the owner) know this is happening & they won't do anything about it unless you keep calling the front desk to keep complaining you're out of ratio, only time they'll actually have things under control is when the state is there to obviously make it seem like everything is running smoothly. When a child is sick/not feeling well center management and the front desk is always informed, but they'll never call parents to inform them about their child. There's been times that the front desk has called the teachers to tell them not to tell the parents everything about their kids day or behavior. The food? Don't even bother paying for food there it's disgusting and absolutely tasteless & it's definitely food an adult won't eat so why are they feeding it to the children? As far as what the children do eat when they want seconds half of the time they don't even order enough food to give them extra. The best food the kids get is pizza on Friday's. Don't even bother looking at the menu because half of the time they don't serve food that's on the menu. At one point there weren't enough plates to serve food on and the teachers were told to cut the plates in half. At the end of the day with the amount of money that this place receives things should be stocked at all times especially if children is what they're dealing with. No one is "disgruntled", or trying to harm your school, you guys are just upset & scared that someone is finally exposing the poor quality daycare you are running. FYI I never got...
Read moreWe owe a lot to TLE. I can only speak of the infant and toddler rooms. When my son turned 6 months, our parental leave finished. We placed him in a different daycare, a couple blocks away from TLE. BIG MISTAKE. By the first week we knew something was wrong. By the second we had already 5 conversations with the director and knew we had to pull him out. The teacher ended up being fired and the school made it seem that would fix the damaged trust. I called so many places to see if there was availability. No one could take our son for months. I called TLE Englewood Cliffs and Ms. Annette told me the same, but she must’ve heard the desperation in my voice. She said hold on and let me see what we can do. She was able to move things around and take our son in a couple of weeks.
Huge difference from the first daycare and TLE. We knew after the first day, TLE was going to be special. The teachers in the infant room are AMAZING and beyond caring. Ms. Kathy, Ms. MJ, and all the aides were so caring and genuinely cared about our son. They gave us tips for when we were home and were proactive on many things such as eating solids and mobility. Our son came home happy and learning so much. We are heartbroken to be leaving, but we moved and can’t swing the commute. But even so, we continued with the commute for 4 more months just so we didn’t interrupt his progress in the infant room. During his last month they moved him to the toddler room since he just turned 1 and was very active. The teachers in the toddler room were just as great as the infant room. We also saw how much he has progressed. He’s using sign language more, he’s attempting to speak more, and is very reactive when he hears children’s songs. Overall we owe our sanity to TLE. There’s nothing more nerve wracking than constantly worrying if your child is being cared for the way they deserve. I can say with 100% certainty that he was at TLE Englewood Cliffs. Thank you again and here’s hoping the next TLE center is just as great...
Read moreEnrolling our son, Trey, at The Learning Experience Englewood Cliffs has been one of the best decisions we've made for his early education! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were welcomed into a warm and nurturing environment that instantly put us at ease.
The teachers at TLE are nothing short of amazing. They are incredibly dedicated, passionate, and truly connect with each child. Trey has developed such a strong bond with his teachers, and it's heartwarming to see how much he enjoys going to school each day. They create engaging lessons that not only captivate his attention but also foster a love of learning. It's clear that they genuinely care about the kids' individual growth and development.
Trey is learning so much already! Whether it’s through interactive activities, storytime, or creative play, he is constantly discovering new things. We've noticed significant improvements in his social skills and confidence, and he can't wait to share what he's learned each day. The curriculum is well-rounded and emphasizes not just academics, but also emotional and social development, which we appreciate deeply.
Seeing Trey thrive in such a supportive setting has truly reaffirmed our choice. The Learning Experience has become a second home for him, and we couldn’t be happier with the progress he’s making. We love witnessing his growth and know that he is in excellent hands.
If you’re considering early education options, I wholeheartedly recommend The Learning Experience Englewood Cliffs. It’s a wonderful community where children can grow, learn, and explore their potential. Thank you to the incredible team for all that you do!
