Uni Nails & Spa | Waxing | Nails Englewood Cliff NJ — Attraction in Englewood Cliffs

We arrived in the morning and expected to be seated all at the same time but we were rather waiting for each of our turns to get our nails done which resulted a 4 HOUR TOTAL time spent in the salon. Absolutely not acceptable when we made a reservation in advance of time. No matter how busy a salon is they should have been professional and seat people who made their reservation. NOT ONLY THAT it was EXTREMELY PAINFUL when Jenny (my designated person) was removing my cuticles and I know why (cuticles were not softened beforehand so she forced my cuticles into my nails). She also made my fingers look absolutely ugly when I clearly came in growing them enough to be shaped. I went back home and removed the gel nail right away. She was not being PATIENT to listen to what kind of design I wanted and which colors I wanted. All I could tell that she just wanted the money and DID NOT have a heart for service. There is a reason why my friends only go to ONE PERSON (who I obviously did not get) in the salon…who actually has stable hands and is patient with their customer. Thus was my first time visiting Uni Nails & Spa and I can tell you — I’ll definitely be going back! My visit started with a pedicure. This cute little boutique nail salon offers a list of spa options for their pedicures including a lavendar spa and green tea spa with callus removal. I started with the lavendar spa and Elena, the women who worked with me, was kind and personable. The spa packages also include a massage (15 minutes for the lavendar package) which rolled out all of the knots in my back! Once Elena finished with my cuticles, calf scrub, and lotion Sandy painted my nails. She was sweet and was attentive to what I asked for my toes and nails — a French style with pastel colors. I loved how patient and careful she was, taking her time with each one. Then it was time for the manicure! I appreciated how Sandy paid attention to detail because my nails match my toes — just how I wanted! At the end of two hours I felt well cared for and walked out a happy woman. I’ve only just starting getting my fingernails done 2 months ago. So even though I love the kindness, warmness, and overall vibes of everyone working there, I have only so far had Judy and Sandy do my nails. They are both so amazing and talented and so nice. I made the mistake of impulsively going to a different place as it was a busy day full of errands and I just saw a place next door. The quality was unbelievable lower, so I won’t make that mistake again. I’m only going to Uni from now on because I know the results are always stunning and last a long time.
