Really a cool little trail. A bit of elevation gain ~200'-400'. Definitely need good shoes for this hike as there is a lot of loose stone and rock. Most of the trail leading to the first "caves" is dirt and easy but getting to any of the other caves can be a little more precarious. If you walk to what seems like the very end and the go around and up on top of the corner wall, there is a large 100' diameter depression with another cave. This last cave that we went to really helps you understand why these were used as shelters. My 5 and 7 year old has a great time balancing rocks in...

It was a long drive for us from Wenatchee. But it was worth it to take some of the photography shots that I got. Well the hike is not too extreme for an incline it is very Rocky. So if you don't feel comfortable on Rocky ground, ot you lack balance I would just have to say suck up the courage and do it! Their views are spectacular the caves don't go that deep but they are original views. Check out my picture and decide for yourself :-) enjoy and always go...
