I brought my daughter in to get her hair cut and the store was very busy. It is COVID so I thought it would be smart to have me and my 6 yr old wait in the car. I told the woman cutting her hair we would be right in the car and my daughter had her cell phone so she could call as soon as she was done or had any questions. Not to mention I could not stand in front of the counter to talk to the woman performing the hair cut because there was a random customer sitting on the floor in front of the counter. About 30 minutes passed and my daughter texted me and said she was done and I texted her right back that we would head right in. She was standing up front and her hair looked super cute. I asked her if she liked it and she said yes. When she got in the car she said you know what was weird mom? The woman cutting my hair never said a word to me. I said she didn't ask you if you liked it? Nope. She didn't even show her a mirror with the cut in the back. I have never sat in a hairdressers chair and not had small talk.
