BOTTOM LINE : A very good beach, very clean. Conveniently located near downtown. Lots of parking, and a lot of grassy park area nearby to run, play, and let the dogs out. PRO : Clean sand, very large and expansive. Water is very clear, very warm. Kids love it here, building in the sand and playing in the water. CON : I've heard there are drop offs farther out, so I kept an eye on the kiddos.

Best beach in the area!! Absolutely loved the water and the waves, and the spots they had for grilling. We also caught the Escanaba City Band on Wednesday which was at least nice to have a little performance as well!! If you’re looking for a nice beach in the area, I can’t recommend this one enough

Clean restrooms with changing rooms and a shower. Cute, clean beach. We didn't swim, it was too windy, chilly and the water was cold. Still enjoyed walking along the beach.

Best beach in the area!! Absolutely loved the water and the waves, and the spots they had for grilling. We also caught the Escanaba City Band on Wednesday which was at least nice to have a little performance as well!! If you’re looking for a nice beach in the area, I can’t recommend this one enough

The beach has a roped off swim area if you have kids that you need to stay in a contained area. There is plenty of other places to enjoy the beach and swim as well. The water was clear enough until you reached areas where you could no longer stand. There is a lifeguard station too that is to be manned at...

Really nice beach! Lots of parking on sand Island and you can walk the trail to the point! There is a bathhouse that you can change in. Beautiful spot to come read a book, take in the sun and the wind, or take a dip in the water. Not usually too busy I would say about medium to high use depending on...
