Stopped in for lunch kind of last minute because we loved the look of the hotel and we were hungry. Great decision!! Our expectations were shattered, between the food, the service and the atmosphere! The decor, lighting and music in the bar area is like going back to what I imagine the 1920s-30s would have been like. The lunch menu had a mix of go-to comforts, but also featured some unique dishes for a lunch menu. We had onion rings for an appetizer and then smothered chicken (with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots), three cheese grilled cheese and cheesy potato bacon soup for our main course. WOW!! Everything was cooked to perfection and had fantastic flavor. You could tell it was made from scratch. The onion rings and sandwich had the perfect amount of crunchiness. Lots of flavor on everything! The waitstaff was an absolute delight!! Super friendly and accurate!! 2 gals specifically told us about the history of the hotel and recommended other days to come for live music. We WILL be making another trip to stay at the hotel and check out the band on a Wednesday thanks to their friendliness. This made our whole Saturday!! Thank you House of Ludington for your superb...

We even found ourselves brave enough to take the 2 minute drive and walk to the beach at...
