The only reason i am leaving more than one star is because of the manager i spoke to Brianna - hope i spelt that right. They were very kind after the terrible experience my family endured. I made a reservation for the patio. I got there and the hostess said āactually your table is insideā very very very rudely. I just thought to myself whatever and rolled with it because the restaurant itself was very nice and 3 members of our party were already sitting. Shit happens no need to get upset. The servers we had, horrible attitudes from the start. We had a girl as our server first she quickly disappeared after taking our drinks. Drinks took forever to get. There were 8 of us so we needed more than two bottles of water. When we asked for more water, we waited 20 minutes then just got up and asked someone else for water. Asked for lemons three times before finally getting them. food took what felt like hours. When the food finally came it was cold. Then they forgot one of our orders or maybe they never put it in who knows. But the second server was HORRIBLE. Got into an argument with one of the members of our party when he asked whatās going on with our food. The server kept saying āthereās nothing i can do about your food youāre just going to have to waitā and telling the person ācalm down youāre angryā this same server said āwe have problems in the kitchen it is what it isā he said āiāve been doing this for 10 years and the kitchen isnāt my problemā well sir it is your problem. he was terribly rude and confrontational.. i couldnt imagine telling a customer that. there were 4 people at our table who have been servers and who still are servers and the correct answer would have been āiām so sorry let me check with the kitchenā instead of arguing and making the situation more inflammatory. Brianna took care of the situation after everything happened but other than that- TERRIBLE service. Due to the food mishaps, 2 members of our party were unable to eat. The restaurant needs an internal restructuring and i would start with that server. I feel the servers didnāt care about the quality of there service because they automatically get 20% and with 8 people youāre gaining at least 40$ on us. Why would you put in effort if youāre automatically gaining the tip? And when did restaurants begin to take deposits before youāve even ordered your drinks? mind you- none of us had alcohol. But with that being said i think this could make a great restaurant with new servers who care about their jobs and donāt hate...

Our party of 5, 2 of which had visited 2 months ago with no questions were denied service once drinks arrived at the table.
We came to celebrate a birthday for a friend and after the good experience last time and had been looking forward to visiting all day. We arrived to a pleasant welcome from the maƮtre d and the whole evening started off well, aside from the accidental misgendering of one of our party, but we let that go.
We all have multiple IDs and all had either a driver's license from France or the UK. The youngest member of our party is 30.
We ordered food and drinks no problem with the server who was very pleasant and thoughtful regarding the best place to sit to keep warm.
When the drinks arrived, an embarrassing situation occurred, the waitress (who was comically carrying 2 tasting flights, and several other glasses on a heavily loaded tray whilst creating this commotion) wanted to see ID which we duly provided in various forms albeit not passports. All of us look clearly significantly over the legal drinking age, however we understand that ID asking is common in the US and in my 16 years of visiting whilst above legal drinking age, my UK driving license has been ample. Until today. The supervisor was summoned by the aforementioned lady. The food then started arriving and the confusion persisted. I was actually able to show 2 driving licenses from different countries, a state issued ID card from my country of residence and a digital copy of my passport, I must have gone to great lengths to mask my age. If any of these staff desire an industry change then might I suggest their skillset would be well suited to being an ICE agent.
It was actually causing quite a commotion, the supervisor who was a pleasant chap was quite loud in his vocal manner and the surrounding tables were all staring at us like we were some common ruffians. At this point we felt the best course of action was to retreat with our tails between our legs from the establishment with our tainted forms of ID as the environment was making us feel threatened with the xenophobic microagressions.
Your brand image that of an inclusive, safe space to all (of legal drinking age), however our embarrassing, demeaning experience left a lot...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my second experience at Stone Brewing and first time at this locationā¦.I cannot imagine a nicer Stone Brewing location than this one. This restaurant appears to be in a warehouse and industrial office complex. Walking in from the parking lot, you walk in through a kind of cave area with plants overhead. The restaurant is pretty large inside with main level and second floor dining and a large bar area. There is a huge outdoor seating area with umbrellas and trees all around on three or four terraced levels to sit. There is a good sized koi fish pond beneath a statue of a gargoyle with a fire pit feature above. There is even a lower level pond or stream with tables/chairs and Adirondack chairs to sit at. Nice lights throughout the trees makes fir a beautiful evening dining experience. The restaurant also features a large gift shop where you can purchase t-shirts, accessories and bottled/canned beer to take away. We were seated outside along the wall of glass separating the indoor and outdoor seating areas. We ordered Stone Mac n cheese ($9) as an appetizer, HULI HULI CHICKEN - BBQ half chicken, Hawaiian-style teriyaki sauce served with traditional macaroni salad and white rice ($22) and NORI CRUSTED SEARED AHI TUNA SALAD- Togarashi-spiced ahi, edamame, ginger, pickled cucumber, puffed umami rice, shredded cabbage, spring mix, wasabi mayo, seaweed salad, miso dressing, soy glaze ($17). The Huli Huli chicken had a great taste but the chicken was a bit in the dry side. The macaroni salad was a good basic macaroni salad we all know. The Tuna salad comes with two dressings and itās advisable to order them both on the side. One of them is a bit spicy and that spice may build. The salad is served in a huge bowl and really is enough to share. Service at this restaurant was pretty slow and we waited longer than expected for our mealā¦however there servers were nice and helpful when we had questions. We tried beers we had not tried before and our choices were much better than our first Stone...
